GE Reveal 3-Way Light Bulb, 50 Watts/100 Watts/150 Watts

I needed to put in five 3 way light bulbs. I use led bulbs in my house where ever I can. I decided to put in one regular 50/100/150 3 way and the other 4 bulbs 50/100/150 led equivalents. This way I could compare the led bulbs against the incandescent bulb for lighting. My brother and I are in our 80s and while I want to save on my electric bill I don't want to strain our eyesight's. We both like the regular bulb better but not enough to switch. So the led bulbs stay. The incandescent bulb goes in a draw to use as a backup and I'll buy another led replacement.

So happy to find an incandescent 3 way light bulb. It is very pricey but I was willing to pay to have it. LED bulbs are harsh and bother my eyes. Also the equivalent to incandescent is usually off. I stockpiled a lot of bulbs when they outlawed incandescent but have been out of 75 watt and 3 way for quite a while. I still have quite a few 60 watt. I hope this bulb being available means we will be seeing other "sizes" come available for sale, but at a more reasonable price.

Reveal are my favorite bulbs and will continue to buy them. They put off the perfect soft light that I prefer.

One bulb as "dead" right out of the box. Other 3 work OK.

Price was more than I wanted to pay but could not find at local store

I ordered two 3-way GE light bulbs. One worked for maybe two hours %26 the other one works fine. In looking at the base of this bulb, I question if it is actually a 2nd quality or was it previously used. So now I have essentially paid $29 for one working bulb, which is outrageous! $14.99 x 2 [bulbs] = $29. Look at the base of the bulb. Not pleased at all.

I got an email request for a review a while ago. I wasn't really sure what to say. They were lightbulbs. I didn't think they were any better or brighter than any other lightbulbs even though they cost more , Today, I noticed it felt a little dark, so I went to check if all of the 3-ways of the 3-way of one of my bulbs were working. When I turned the switch, the bulb exploded . I got a receipt, but no bulb, no box. What a waste of money.

Only one bulb in package. There was suppose to be two. Not a value. Even if they left both bulbs they was a profit. Won't buy again.
