GE Sealant Remover Tool, Pack of 1, Black 1 Piece

Worked great to remove old silicone from ceramic wall tile in shower where it butted up to the fiberglass floor pan. If doing more than one shower/bath I'd probably buy 2 of these considering they are just plastic and will start to lose their sharp edges after use. But that's the point, you want the tool to be sacrificed and not gouging the material you're removing old caulk/silicone from

this works amazingly. especially paired with a hair blow dryer to remove stubborn caulk. you can thank me later lol

I've used a LOT of these types of tools and you really need hard durable plastic to get the job done and this absolutely does! I had some very old stubborn caulk left from shower doors in my bathroom and it helped me finally get it off.

I wasn't sure how well it would actually work since it's so light weight and made of plastic. This thing is AWESOME! Super sharp so be careful when handling. It removed the caulk easily without leaving a mess behind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is packaged nicer and better looking than any of the others I have seen in the market. Just like the others, the remover part isn't the greatest but it will help get it started for sure. It worked better than the Homax brand one I used before but still had issues with it. The smoothing part of it worked better but I still had to clean it up a bit after using it. Would use it again and see if anything changed with using a latex based caulk instead of silicone in our bathroom.

I used this to remove some caulking before re-caulking some bathtub tile this made it a lot easier. The packaging is standard. This did feel like a really safe way to self DIY.

Cool concept, unfortunately handle is too sharp for gripping, it slipped and cut myself, also it wears too fast, plastic is too soft for even finishing one bathtub. Quality control

worse invention ever produced

Terrible quality. Tried using it for about 10 minutes and the tool was already getting deformed. Cheap plastic. Would gladly pay more for a higher quality tool made in the USA but not sure if one exists.
