Works great and is ready fast. I have used this to patch stress holes on my 20-year-old copper fountain. It seals and reinforces holes created through wear where the upright tubes connect with the copper basin. I've used it three times over the years, as the fountain develops new stress fractures and have never had to patch the same place twice.

SteelStik is the BOMB for fixing things that heretofore were unfixable. It is a miracle epoxy that cures quickly and is incredibly tough. You smash it into the hole, the crack, the stripped bolt hole, the rusty pit that used to be a metal thing. Press it. Sculpt it. Smooth it with a wet finger like you are frosting a cake for a machine god. Then you wait. In an hour this 2-ounce gray stick has become a dark-gray rock that laughs at 350°F and flexes a 4000 PSI rating like it is showing off at the gym. Drill it. Tap it. File it. Sand it. Paint it. Machine it if you want to get fancy. It does not care. It wants the work. I rebuilt a chewed-up thread and torqued a fastener like I was daring the universe. The universe blinked. SteelStik did not. I sealed a leak that had been mocking me for weeks. Packed a rust crater so deep it had its own weather. Patched metal that had already written its will. This stuff is steel-reinforced, non-rusting, oil-resistant, water-resistant, chemical-resistant, and emotionally resistant to every half-fix I ever attempted with tape and prayer. Rough it up. Cut only what you need and wrap the rest like treasure. Knead until there are no streaks. Apply like the clock is a predator. Shape it before it sets, because once it sets you are not "working with putty" anymore. You are negotiating with a new piece of hardware. I have used cheaper putties that crumbled like sad cookies. This one cures into something you can abuse. Automotive. Plumbing. Shop repairs. Household metal that rusted while you were looking at it. Exhaust-adjacent nonsense. Fuel-adjacent panic. A mounting point that stripped and tried to ruin the whole afternoon. Two ounces is enough to feel like a wizard and still leave you hunting for the next wound. It will not replace a proper weld on a frame rail. It will, however, resurrect the parts that were about to ruin your Saturday.

This item along with the Delivery system Walmart now has is a great system especially someone disabled and elderly as myself.This weld is fantastic took care of my leaky pipe in a very short time.

dont know if anyone has used this before, but it really works. found it by accident years ago to fix a broken piece of cast iron. did not think it would work, lol, but... after about 20 years now... its still holding together. love this stuff.

It's hardens really good, but... I don't think i prepped the area properly on my lawn mower. When the motor mounts to the deck cracked and I tried it apply it but it all fell off in a few minutes of starting it back up. Still a good product though.

I used this once. Although it did what I needed, it was not as pliable as I would like. It has a strong smell to it. I think it is intended for more outdoor uses. I used it to hold together a picture frame. I had to sit and hold it together until it stuck and held. Overall, it is okay and will stick material together. The price was more than I cared to pay for it but it kept me from replacing a picture frame.

Package only says use for metal. Description in Walmart online says can be used on concrete. I don't know if this will work on concrete because it is not mentioned on the package.
