Oatey Plumber's Putty Sealing Compound for Frames and Faucets, 14 oz. Container, Off-White

Well, walmart didn't have the duct putty, so I ordered this. Now I still have to buy duct putty because it's for outside. I used it before I learned it is the wrong putty. Plumber's putty and duct putty are 2 different things.

I would like to know what happened to it with the order, I have not gotten it yet and would like to get it if possible

It's just plumbers putty and it was the cheapest one that was in stock for delivery when I needed it.

I received the item on time , have not had the opportunity to use it. I will be using the item for household indoor plumbing.

My container that I received by delivery was already opened.

Used this item to repair my sink and it was tough at first only because it was my first time using it. But caught on fast on how to go about it, and months later the seal is holding great.

I have been applying Oatey Plumber's Putty to my drains for years without any leaks. I keep using it because it's priced right and it works. Follow the instructions and apply. Ease of use with good results every time.

You are going to need this if you change your faucet fixture. It is a good product and works well. It's very good product but, be careful to make a good bead as I had to replace the bead that a local plumber made on my mother's sink drain which leaked after he replaced it. Even professionals can do it wrong, so be careful when making a bead.
