Oatey Plumber's Putty Sealing Compound for Frames and Faucets, 14 oz. Container, Off-White

Used this item to repair my sink and it was tough at first only because it was my first time using it. But caught on fast on how to go about it, and months later the seal is holding great.

I have been applying Oatey Plumber's Putty to my drains for years without any leaks. I keep using it because it's priced right and it works. Follow the instructions and apply. Ease of use with good results every time.

You are going to need this if you change your faucet fixture. It is a good product and works well. It's very good product but, be careful to make a good bead as I had to replace the bead that a local plumber made on my mother's sink drain which leaked after he replaced it. Even professionals can do it wrong, so be careful when making a bead.

Works great for sink ,tub ,and shower drains. If it starts to dry I usually dampen it with water and kneed it till it's pliable. Has always sealed good.

Well, walmart didn't have the duct putty, so I ordered this. Now I still have to buy duct putty because it's for outside. I used it before I learned it is the wrong putty. Plumber's putty and duct putty are 2 different things.

I used this putty to replace my bathtub drain gasket like the YouTube videos. The putty does not harden and form a seal. It turns into a thick slime. The tub is still leaking under the bottom.
