I used this to plug a dime-size hole in a plastic drain pipe. Let dry overnight just to be sure. Not a drop of water has leaked out since using this product three months ago. Just be sure to follow the directions carefully. I am a believer!
I have a $1200 instantaneous water heat that was fairly new and a PVC portion of the feedwater pipe inside the unit broke in freezing temperatures. The part was not replaceable and I didn't want to throw away a brand new water heater. I used JB weld on the interior fitting and JB PipeWeld on the exterior, and it works great--no leaks. Going on 1 month now with no problems.
Tiny miracle, I used this to create a condensate catch pan under my air conditioner. I made the pan but needed a way to seal and permanently join the corners where the side meet up. This was simple to cut a small piece, kneed the material for a few seconds then press into the joint. After holding place for about 30 seconds it held strong. I let it sit over night and then tested water tightness, it worked flawlessly.
This is awesome stuff. Used successfully to plug pinhole crack on motorcycle coolant reservoir from rock damage. Surface prep and waiting 2-3 days to proper cure is crucial. Check and check again. Use coarse sandpaper after using degreasers and NO water or fluids when applying. Make sure it is mixed proper bc it is like working with fast drying cement when it is.
I used this to repair a crack in a plastic water trough. It was easy to do and is still holding up. I was skeptical that it would work at first. Very satisfied with how well it worked!
Easy to use. Works great. Used it to repair some fiberglass. The only thing I did not like is it seemed to stick to the vinyl gloves I was using to mix it.
I've used JB Weld Water many times and find it to be a great product every time I needed it. Applying to woods, metal, pvc, tile and more. Its drying fast great for mold repairs and the easy sanding makes it the go to repair kit.
My main waterline busted open after the big freeze. This morning I heard the water spraying out of the pipe all over the basement. I bought this product this morning. I applied a small piece over the cracks and let it cure. It worked! The leaks stopped I'm so thankful for this product I will use it for other projects as well.
Sold as tank repair that is fully resistant to water and gasoline when hardened. I cleaned and sanded a plastic fuel tank, allowed to dry and 5 months later a large piece of the patch peeled off like it never had adhesion. The failed epoxy has the texture from my sanding lines, it was degreased before applying and there was no gas present.
I bought 2 of these..Followed the instructions exactly %26 did not work on a minor pipe leak.Kinda seemed like it worked yet within a few hours it was actually worse leaking. Also even though I wore gloves it burned my skin mildly, very dry.Might be great for some things yet not under pressure as it says.Disappointing %26 time consuming.
