J-B Weld Plastic Bonder Tan Syringe Epoxy Adhesive 25 ml

Used this product to reattach my hardtop convertible headliner tabs, 2006 Volvo C70, and it worked good. It has only been a couple of weeks, but this product was highly and widely recommended on the forums for this common know issue and so I think it will hold up for awhile.

I've used a lot of “plastic repair” products that overpromise and underdeliver, but J-B Weld Plastic Bonder is the real deal. The tan syringe makes it easy to dispense equal parts without guessing, and it mixes smoothly with no mess. It sets up quickly but still gives you enough working time to position parts properly. Once cured, it's incredibly solid — strong enough to handle structural repairs, not just cosmetic fixes. I used it on a cracked plastic housing and it bonded like it was never broken. It sands well, holds paint, and doesn't shrink or crack after curing. For 25 ml, you get plenty for multiple repairs. If you need something dependable for plastic (especially parts that actually take stress), this stuff is worth keeping in your toolbox.

I used this to repair a Bowflex XTL seat which cost over $200.00 if bought new and shipped to my home. Thanks to this epoxy the repair cost pennies. The repair is stronger than the plastic which is 1/4 inch thick. I was and still am jumping up and down with joy that I bought this and did the repair in 5 minutes. It's gold, and it bonds, but it's not gold bond so don't use it for foot fungus. Highly recommend.

Adhesion and hardness is better than JB Weld. It has its purpose for plastic repair. Used to repair grill on a car. Outstanding results.

I used this glue to attach plastic to the metal of an eyeglass temple, letting it set for 24 hours. It held for a couple of weeks and then released. That may be all you can expect. I may try epoxy in the future if needed.

Did not work at all on my cooler hinge. I tried to reattach a broken cooler hinge and it didn't take. I let it set for an entire day and it broke loose the first time I opened it.
