I gave this 5 stars because so far it is working like I had hoped. It was easy to use, and it didn't ooze out unless I pressed on the tube. Got this to glue the suction holder for the dash cam back together. I cleaned the surfaces with alcohol and roughed up the plastic just a bit. I followed the directions exactly. Put the activator on first like writing with a marker to make sure everything was covered. Let it set for 60 seconds, then used the glue. Let the holder set up for 24 hours and the bond seems very strong. If anything changes I will come back and update my review. So far so good.

It was faster drying than I thought it would be which worked to my advantage. The finished product is not flexible but if you need to fix something ridged this stuff is great.

Selected this glue specifically to repair a cracked TAL brand lid made of polypropylene plastic. This part is the big black lid that screws onto the stainless steel 32 oz body and has a small flip-top cap that screws into the mouth piece. After accidentally dropping the bottle, the lid cracked towards the side and across the top, and started leaking. Cleaned the cracked section with 90% rubbing alcohol and let dry completely. Used the catalyst pen on both cracked mating surfaces and let dry for a minute. Applied the glue to the full length of one cracked side and then pressed the 2 pieces together for a few minutes. After releasing and not seeing any shifting/movement of parts, I left the repaired lid to cure overnight. Washed the lid the next day to remove any excess catalyst, filled the bottle with water and attached the repaired lid. Flipped the bottle upside down and left for several hours to test for any slow leaks. Not a drop of water came out, so the repair was a success. Because the lid has been repaired it can only be hand washed and no longer go in the dishwasher as this may compromise the repair. Also, use at your own risk in this type of repair as this glue (like most super glues) is not listed as food grade safe. I tried to attach 2 pictures but the review would reset (erase what I wrote) and pictures still not show up.

Instructions were clear and easy to do. They provided a list the bonding would not work on. I followed instructions verbatim. It didn't work on what I needed it to glue. Maybe the item I was trying to glue was made from something on the list it doesn't work with.

I wish I was able to give "0" stars. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. The activater was completely dry when I opened it. Without the activater the product is useless. Do not waste your money on this. Search for something else.

bought it for what it says it does... but no better than super glue. as a matter of fact it doesn't even work as good as super glue!! don't waste your time it doesn't do what it says.
