J-B Weld KwikWood Epoxy Putty 1 oz Tan

Expensive, but it works very well. First time using it but the directions were clear and kneading it together was fun and easy. I was able to use nitrile gloves as directions suggested. I used it to fill a large gouge defect in an exterior deck stair made with reclaimed wood. It had a decent 10 min work time and cured to a very hard and rain proof state within a few hours. Pretty sure it is more solid now than the wood around it. For areas that need high strength repair, to fill a large gap, and need wear resistance this seems to be a great product. Now to see if it holds up for years or not.

Although i need to use the whole stick, it stopped my water heater leaking warm water. I applied it while the warm water was leaking. Two applications half each. First application didnt stop the leak but slowed it. Second application did the job.

I did not have any dislikes with the product. I used to repair a door jam and it worked great! After allowing the proper dry time, then sanding and painting, my repair was awesome. What a great product and it is great tech!

It works well as long as it's not for holding too much weight … it cover well and after sanding it leaves no trace or marks. It's not to be mixed with metal like screws because it may not hold whatever the screws are holding and the screws may come off.

We do a lot of artistic Gourd work. The JB Weld Quikwood Epoxy putty is the best we have found for the making of beards, hands, feet, or any thing else that needs to be stuck on a gourd without falling off. It also allows the artistic flourishes we want to make for added visual impact.

I thought it did not mix as easy as I expected. If I did not use the whole stick in a couple of days it would start to dry out. In container. I also had problems filling small but deep grudges. Others may have better luck but I was not satisfied with it.

Used this to fix multiple furniture issues. Unfortunately it didn't work on a kitchen drawer face that the screws had stripped out of the wood. Filled the holes and re-screwed the wood drawer face back on. It only lasted a week :(

The putty was easy to mix and apply. Was not dried out like some folks have said upon receipt. Dried hard to the touch as described but I waited a day before sanding and drilling. Once I put my drill bit on it, it sank in by hand fairly easily but was solid enough to drill a hole. It did drill out but flaked as well. A little disappointed in its hardness. My door did not latch because the hole in the door jamb was slightly high. I filled the hole to lower the strike plate. Some of the repair was in fresh wood and some in the putty. I was able to complete my project but wonder how sturdy this will be over time. I was hoping the product would harden a bit more. Time will tell.

super sticky to handle, can't wear glove to apply like it suggests because touching it pulls the product back out of the spot your filling and rubbing it or try to smooth it over in anyway it just beads up under your finger and pulls it off.

purchased 2 different times from walmart and the product was stale or expired. Hard clumps that never smooth and it never hardens correctly. I've purchased this from Home Depot and had no issues. Will not buy from walmart again.
