J-B Weld Clear Weld Syringe 14Ml Hardware Epoxy Adhesive

I've been using this for a while. Its very strong when it dries. It stiffens up in a couple of minutes. Then just leave it for a day and its one piece. Very strong bond.

I like it for what it is. The only caveat is that I didn't expect the auto mixer. I must look closer at the item before I order next time. I was expecting the cap that has the two parts come out separately and the user mixes manually. Oh well.

Bought the 14mL to repair hairline fractures in tile for two bathroom floors in my house. However, the 14mL only comes with ONE applicator tip to automatically blend the 2 part epoxy so it's then useless after using it once. And nobody, including JB Weld, makes replacement tips to fit the 14mL tube. Shame on you JB Weld. Either change the packaging to say one-time use, include at least 2 or 3 more tips, or sell extra tips for the 14mL size.

I waited for it to dry for 3 days and it never did harden. The automatic 50/50 mixing system looks clever, but I suspect it didn't get the mix correct. If I tried it again I'd just bypass the mixer and mix it 50/50 myself. No way to tell if the mixer was at fault or not, because I'll never use it again. The standard grey colored 2 part JB Weld ALWAYS works fine and dries hard as a rock overnight. This stuff just didn't work for me.

I purchased J-B Weld ClearWeld 5 Minute Epoxy to repair a small pinhole in an air mattress. Unfortunately, it did not work for this type of application. Although the epoxy mixed and cured as described, it did not create a flexible seal. After applying it to the small hole and allowing it to fully cure, air still leaked through. The pressure from the mattress caused air to escape around the epoxy, and eventually a new small hole formed through or around the hardened area. This product may work well for rigid materials, but in my experience it is not suitable for flexible surfaces like vinyl air mattresses that expand and contract with air pressure. I would not recommend it for this specific type of repair

I've used epoxy numerous times in the past. I mixed it even though it shouldn't need it with that container style and it never hardened at all? I even tried heating it up a little bit after it sat for a day not setting up...🤷 my experience with JB Weld. I've never had an issue before with any brand.
