I think I bought every kind of pipe glue known to man and this is the best I've tried all of them, so far it has held up and I break a lot of water pipes old house

Less Is Better
I had to replace a sprinkler valve which required only 4 connection. Went to the big box stores and the smallest size they had was 8 ounces. Walmart size is 4 ounce and way cheaper. I make PVC joints about once every year. PVC cement don't last very long.

Applied to 40 schedule PVC. Cured fast and tested at 60lb pressure after hour.

Reason for three stars is….very difficult to open. Need a pair of vice grips and maybe then. I finally figured to punch a hole in it and use……..whatever.
