GE Ultra Bright LED 100 Watt Replacement, Daylight, A15 Ceiling Fan Bulbs (2 Pack)

These bulbs are smaller than an average light bulb. However don't let their size full you! They are by far the brightest white that I've ever had, which is what I was searching for!!

PERFECT and exactly what I was looking for! I needed a very bright and warm colored bulb for my new single-bulb porch fixtures, and actually did a Google search to find the right bulb because I was skeptical that an LED could be that bright and also a beautiful warm light (AND energy efficient--the holy grail trifecta). Previously we had accidentally bought cool white "daylight" bulbs from Home Depot for my last fixture and those turned out to be an awful glaring bright blue from the street--but nope, this one is a gorgeous mellow warm color, VERY bright but without being that blinding, piercing death ray that gives me an instant migraine. Other reviewers were right, this is exactly what I needed and our pioneer Victorian farmhouse is now cozy and bright!

I like these bulbs because they are really bright and work well in the ceiling fan over my work area. Other bulbs I've used were just too dim, but because these are LED, I can get a brighter light for a lower wattage. The color is soft and warm like the sun, and is not harsh or artificial like the cooler colored LED bulbs.

They work fine although the light isn't as bright as I thought it would be, it is sufficient for where the fan is.

I like the size of the bulbs and the brightness so I'd give this product high ratings for those features. There are, however, two things I don't like about these (GE branded) bulbs and I dislike them so much I will not buy them anymore. Warning 1 The bulbs have about a half second delay between the time you turn on the switch and when the bulb lights up. I find that annoying and I'm switching to less expensive alternative branded bulbs that do not do this. Until I use up my stockpile of GEs, I'm putting one alternative bulb in the fixture and the rest are all GEs. Now I get instant light from the alternative bulb until the GEs catch up. It works well for me. Warning 2 - Note this warning may actually apply to all decorative LED bulbs. I just know for sure that it applies to these GEs. These bulbs are clearly not made to be burned base up. Nothing on the packaging I see explicitly says this but it's true. These bulbs generally start to flicker after about six months and get worse and worse until I've had enough and replace them. These GEs just don't last very long in base up mode. Doubly unfortunate is that LED bulbs may all suffer from this malady to various degrees. LED bulbs have electronics in their bases. Burn them base up and the heat the bulb produces rises into the base and ultimately wrecks the electronics and they fail in a matter of months not years. Bonus Warning If you ever consider buying a new light fixture for your home that requires decorative bulbs to be burned base up, DON'T BUY IT. My fixture predates LED bulbs and for years had no problems with incandescent bulbs burning base up.

I just bought these to put in a light fixture I am installing to hang above my front door. The old fixture took the candelabra bulbs and had a set of the very first led bulbs to come out, that had went bad, and I wanted to switch to the much easier to replace edison bulbs. I wanted the brightest standard power bulb i could get and this was what came back in all my searches as the brightest 100 watt equivalent led bulb on the market. At over $9 a bulb I figured they better be. Well, I just got them in, and tested them out, and I am sad to say that in brightness, a $0.77 Great Value 60 watt equivalent bulb out performed this bulb hands down. Now in color, the GE ultra bright has a brilliant white/blue color that the budget bulb couldn't match. However, in raw brightness, the cheaper Great Value bulb beat out the premium GE bulb that was rated at 40 watts more of incandescent brightness.

Hello: I ordered two packages of the ultra bright led light bulbs. I was disappointed that one of the packages contained only one bulb. Further, when uploading a picture of my purchase, I kept receiving an error message.

Wish i could give 0 stars. I received this 2 pack in the mail, and the bulb box was a bit mangled. Upon opening the box, there was only one bulb inside, but it was not the correct bulb. It appeared to be a return someone had made that was resold without checking it to ensure quality of product. Not my idea of fun pating $13 for 2 bulbs and receiving a box with a used bulb.
