This works really well. It performs better than silicone spray. Best of all, it is safe for the environment, people and pets, so to me it is worth the price.

it worked very well when i needed to lubricate the springs on my garage doors. I have osteoarthritis in my hands, so trying to manipulate the button and direct the nozzle is difficult for me. But this was different. The button was easy and the spray went directly where i aimed it. The product is terrific.

This product is something I might buy at a hardware or big box home store. I generally use something like WD-40 for metal on metal and that is what I did. I needed to help the leaking sliding glass door to slide. I left for the day, coming back after a rain. My kids have 4 paws, they love the sliding glass doors and sit at it daily. The entire room smelled of WD-40 from the chemicals getting wet again. I was very angry and researched to find an eco friendly solution. Gear Hugger was delivered, about the next day from Walmart. I've had it on the door through a few rains with no smells in the room, and the glass door slides. I had researched this product before when I was looking for a lubricant for my bicycle, but I no longer can ride a bike. It has oh so many uses beyond a bike!

Found this on a bargain rack for 1/2 price and decided to try it on my badly neglected fishing reels... like that it is plant-based as I am using on the dock over the water. Does a great job loosening up the reels for smooth operation.

The scent is a nice citrus smell, no strong petroleum or chemical smell. It is easy to use, and the packaging is great, seems well designed to avoid issues with use. I am planning to give their degreaser a try as well, as it appears to have lots of potential uses around the home!
