I melt some salted butter in my pot %26 as soon as it's bubbly I mash these into the butter until they're hot and bubbly, stir in a little grated cheese and they're thick, creamy and delicious!! Perfect for bean and cheese burritos, or on a crispy tostado shell straight out of the oven with a little sour cream, grated cheese and some chopped lettuce and tomatoes, or on a bed of nachos with all the other toppings, or I'll layer these beans in the bottom of a bowl, add some queso, grated cheese, jalapeños, sour cream and eat it like a dip with my favorite corn or tortilla chips!! I keep these refried beans in my pantry at all times!! Yummmm
By far, my favorite for carrying the strong flavors I enjoy in Mexican dishes. A smooth texture works well for spreadability.
These beans are good in bean and cheese nachos and with hamburger meat and chips and cheese as a dip. what a great price also.
They are never running like the other brands are. I spice mine up with some diced jalapeños, a little garlic salt. Some black pepper and a small bit of brown sugar.. the kids love them like that! We love making bean and beef tostadas out of them.
These ice pops are delicious and enjoyable for family desserts.
Very smooth and flavorful. priced right also
LOVE THESE BEANS....I USE THEM FOR BURRITOS AND EVEN NACHOS!!
this is my go to brand of refried canned pinto beans beans for taco/tostada night when I dont cook my own. they are not too seasoned or salty. good if you cook in bacon greese, salt, onion and garlic powder. top with grated cheese.
This can is impossible to open. There's no lip at all. I broke a can opener trying to open. So I don't know how it looks or tastes.
Not sure how these rate so high. Other than having a decent consistency and texture, these refried beans taste truly awful. No flavor and very bland! You're better off buying some basic canned pinto beans and making them in a refried bean style. Never again.
