What a great tool to have. So glad I made the purchase, just in time for Christmas. We shredded 4-16oz. blocks of cheese within 5 minutes. There is a locking mechanism for the suction base to prevent it from sliding. Great price for the investment. We will only use it during holidays/parties, so this should last for a while. The video shows a 16oz. block shredded in little over a minute with ease.

LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! Grates beautifully. Ease of use is remarkable and extremely simple to clean (wipes clean with warm water and cloth). Cheese and vegetables grate effortlessly. Such a strong suction when placed on the counter top. I can't recommend this product enough!!!! Buy 2 more as Christmas gift for my sisters!!! Honestly, it's very easy to use. It's easy to clean everything clicks in nothing hard to learn. I love it. I recommend it and you should get it.

WOW this new cheese grater has been a game changer!!! Grating cheese used to be one of my least favorite parts of making mac and cheese, lasagna, or any other similar dish that required use of a grater. As soon as I received my new Geedel Rotary Cheese Grater, however, I decided to prep for mac and cheese and try it out. My recipe called for one block of Gruyère, one block of cheddar, and one block of mozzarella. To my surprise, I had grated all of my cheeses in less than 5 minutes! Now grating cheese is not just easy - it's also fun! My 7 year-old daughter tried it out recently as well, and it's her new favorite thing in the kitchen to help me with!! I also love that this grater comes with three interchangeable blades, one for grating, one for shredding, and one for slicing, and that each blade is very versatile and can be used for a wide variety of food items! The Geedel Rotary Cheese Grater is also very durable and easy to take apart and clean. I was really impressed how inexpensive and affordable it was as well, and it arrived at my house in less than two days. Definitely a worthwhile investment and one that has forever changed my cooking experience! Thank you so much!!!

It works very well and easy to clean. There is usually lodging of some food materials behind the grater rim but it doesn't necessarily affect the functionality.

I used to manually cut or shred cheese, veggies or really anything else and this had been such a time saver and arm saver, ha! I love how it suctions to the counter and it's easy to dismantle for cleaning. Absolutely love and recommend.

I'm very pleased with the grater although, as i have arthritis in my hands, i found it difficult to press down hard enough to shred potatoes for potato pancakes. The grater works well and for anyone who has fully functioning hands, I think it's perfect.

The suction is to weak to hold the base down. The shredder is plastic and made to look like steel. Shreds ok if you are ok to chase it around the counter trying to shred your cheese.

Looks nice and puts together easily. However, the metal graters are poor quality. The first time I used it to grate Parmesan the metal shredder bent and left deep gouges in the plastic.

This cheese grater is garbage. I bought this after breaking my store brand cheese grater that I loved, thinking that I was upgrading. Cheese does not pass through the barrel, gets suck and melds together. Tonight I had to pry the cheese out of the barrel with a fork. I was going to at least get some of my money's worth it off it, but tonight I got so frustrated with it that I threw it in the trash. The handle won't stay on. It has a locking mechanism, but it's difficult to get it to engage and will pop off during use. The only thing this cheese grater has going for it is that it consistently locks down to the counter top.
