These work just as good as the much more expensive ones ----at half the price. LOVE IT! Bought a few times for our whole house filter. Why overpay? Lasts about 4 months at our house because our well has a lot of sediment. If you have less sediment, probably 6 months would work. Great purchase! Will continue to buy.

The pricing on these water filters is excellent, especially if you buy a pack of 4. I did so and received them promptly. These appear to be as good if not possibly better than the name brand filters I was using, Matrix. I believe these have more filter material as they are heavier and as described I think that they have a longer life before needing to be replaced. I installed my first one about a month ago and It appears to be working as it should in my whole house filter.

Had to get a new well drilled recently and the installer suggested I try a carbon filter to remove the iron in our water, as the water softener was not doing it very well. I was skeptical at first but thought why not give it a try and now that I've had it installed in my water system for three months I am happy to say it is working well pun unintended). I am hoping the filter lasts at least 4 months, before I have to replace it, to say it is catching a lot of iron is an understatement. The housing is clear so I can see the filter and it is beet red it was white). So far I'm happy with the result.

I bought this to replace the water filter cartridge for my coconut countertop filter. It was slightly bigger like a millimeter and water was leaking when I replaced it. The first thing I noticed was my well water tasted better. My carbon filter is the second one in the chain of 2 filters but this filter outperforms other ones I purchased at big box stores.

The odor in our well water is completely gone. I put 3 of these, in series, and the water is crystal clear and tastes great. This is in a vacation house. I'm hoping they last at least a year.
