these lights were purchased and a emergency back up for in case we dont have batteries or means to charge my other lights. I am happy with the way they work and the run time on them, for doing a 5 minute crank from the light being dead it ran for a little more than 2 hours. I measured usable light in my house during this test meaning if i can stand in a doorway and see the far side of the room i considered the light still charged.
I've tested one of these for a year. So far so good. Great not having to buy batteries. Both solar charge and winding charge working well. Seems to be pretty tough for the money.
Bright LED beam from the light. Crank does mantain flashlight well and solar panel works well to charge if directions are followed. Great purchase for everyday use, camping, or emergency storage.
Perfect for the emergency kit!
I think this is a great idea to have around the house mlm
they are exactly as described, great product, thanks.
Bought these as Shoebox gifts (Samaritans Purse) .DIdn't get totry them out, but they seemed of good quality.
about 60 cranks will give you 30 minutes of light. and leaving it outside all day gave me at least 5 hours of light. this is after I've owned it for about a week. do not know how durable it is though at this point
Smaller than i expected
These are perfect for 3-5 year olds to kerp them occupied in the car. the beam is low and wont do much for real emergencies. Returned
