Gehl's Mild Cheddar Cheese Sauce, 50 oz, 2 Count

I use it along with butter, heavy cream, shredded cheddar, and American cheese to prepare Macaroni and Cheese for a party I catered, and I received nothing but compliments. Great for nachos also.

Yes, it says 50 0z, so I should have known, but am still surprised at the amount of cheese in this package. Two huge bags. When they say authentic, they are dead on. This is just like the cheese you'd get at your local convenience store for your nacho's, and matches the cheese I have received at the stadium for sport & music events. I will certainly buy this again. Although it will take awhile to use all that comes in this box. The nice thing is there are indeed two bags. The one I've opened is in the fridge and the other up in the cub-bard waiting it's turn.

So many nacho cheeses have to be spicy to cover up the greasy sliminess of them. This is cheese that tastes like cheese, no after taste, no greasy feel, and it's quite mild. The packaging is convenient also, just clip a corner, squeeze out some cheese, then vacuum seal the bag back shut, and toss it into the refrigerator.

I love this. Two bags in the box so it's not like a gallon can where a lot is wasted. You can have it twice and not worry about it spoiling.

I use this as a base for my crust less chicken pot pie, it works perfectly.

I have bought the cheese before and it was always good but this time there was mouse holes in the bags of cheese

Price is good, size is right, but the flavor is too bland for this product. We keep losing half of the large gallon size can nacho cheeses because we can't eat it before it goes bad. Going back to the more versatile Great Value Melt'n Dip Easy Melt Cheese.

Gehl's used to be a go to cheese sauce for me but this box of "cheese" sauce is nowhere near what I remember. It also tastes nothing like the Gehl's sauce I've gotten from the machine in the past. It does seem to taste very much like the first 2 main ingredients... WATER, CHEESE WHEY

While it's not the worst cheese sauce, it's nowhere near the best. Very bland and not even jalapeños or other toppings made it better. Will not be purchasing again. Go with the Rich's brand!
