Bush's Original Baked Beans, Canned Beans, 117 oz Can

Our family loves baked beans. Growing up, Mom bought Van Kamps, but switched to Bush's in the 70s. When I got married in 85, we kept the tradition of Bush's. Like everyone, I assume, my wife tweaks the recipe to make it her own. Her Baked Beans are always a request at potlucks and family gathersing. Unfortunately, they do give you the toots. 😅

Bush's baked beans are hard to beat. The value for your money is great and the taste is wonderful. We buy these bulk sized cans for our church chicken bbq. They are pre-cooked and you can eat them hot or cold. Bush's has there bean factory store open to the public in Tennessee and I would recommend. Everyone who can to check it out. They show you how the make Bush's baked beans. These beans are a great side dish. To add some extra flavor, add browned ground beef or smoked sausage slices / cubes. If you like green peppers, add some of those too. Yum!

I don't just serve them straight out of the can, but these are a great base to add your own seasonings. I use an ATK recipe that calls for various types of beans and just use this one can for the whole recipe. It works great and tasted wonderful. Even without a lot of extra effort these are pretty tasty.

Always my baked beans Go-To! Although, I always add a few other ingredients to make it 'mine'. They were a hit at our recent family reunion!

The Bush Beans are great tasting and the cans are large enough to feed a group of people. I absolutely love them. However, I only have it 4 stars because the price has practically doubled. I understand that prices have increased but to double the price is a but much.

I prefer the vegetarian beans but bought this for the lower cost. The beans are runny as-is, so I picked out the pork bits, added extra flavors, and baked in an open dish until thick. Divided into portions and froze.

The beans are the best! I rated low because of shipping. They were delivered well past the expected date. I had to go purchase from another store because I needed them for an event. Disappoited with Walmart shipping,not the beans. Will order again, but will allow additional shipping time. Bush's beans are the best!

I ordered 3 large %2310 cans of baked beans. I had only brought a can opener with me so we had to hunt around for knives %26 a hammer to try to open them. 1 was so dented that it couldn't even stand on its own, the other 2 the lip where an opener would cut was so dented that we had to hammer out the dents before the opener would work. The box they came in had no padding at all and was splitting apart as we carried it into the church to use.

I am not a fan of Bush's Baked Beans. I was looking for a large can of pork and beans to make baked beans out of, but Sam's didn't carry large cans. Normally I would have used navy beans instead but since I was short on time and I was feeding a crowd for free, I decided to go with this. After doctoring it up with some mustard and brown sugar, it wasn't bad. I will not buy this again

This giant can of baked beans was substituted for a 15-ounce can. There are two of us in our household. I did not select this size as a substitution. It's too difficult to return it to the store because my husband is handicapped. This is the second time this has happened. I'm disgusted.
