General Finishes, MILK PAINTS, SNOW WHITE, Gallon

Once you try milk paint, you will never want to go back. The white takes multiple coats to get a solid white finish when you paint dark cabinets but the outcome is worth the work. A little bit goes a long way. You just add a little water if you want to thin the consistency. It spreads on like sour cream. It was fun to work with. It gets absorbed and dries quickly with zero brushstrokes. This stuff is truly great. Doing my lower cabinets in China Blue. Did my exterior door in lamp black with a brass kick plate. Cleans up with water. I will never stop buying this stuff. If you are worried about the price....remember you get hat you pay for. When you are painting something as important and visible as your kitchen cabinets, you have to look for the best. I am more than pleased.

We remodeled on the cheap, using free cabinets that were someone else's discards. I took the extra steps to sand the shine off, prime using high adhesion primer, 3 coats of General Finishes, MILK PAINTS, then 3 coats of Varathane. I'm super pleased with the results.

Paint is very thick. Goes on smooth and looks beautiful. Painted my utility room and kitchen cabinets with this paint and they look great. Cleans up easily also.

The paint itself is very good , just learned later not to use the Snow White paint when doing dark brown cabinets. It took me 4 x to get a good result even though I did use also the paint cleaner/stripping product, but overall I got it done, just need to put top coat on and I am done.
