Grey Flannel for Men by Geoffrey Beene 4 oz EDT Spray

I bought this for my partner's birthday. He is a man in his late 50s, and he often mentioned this cologne as a positive memory from his youth in the 1980s. I had read mixed reviews about this not being the same as the original Grey Flannel, but Walmart's price was too good to pass up; I figured it would at least be worth a shot to buy this. Wow, am I glad that I did! My partner was ecstatic, and he said the aroma seemed the same to him as the cologne he once wore as a young man. His 80 year old mother similarly praised the aroma of this cologne and said it brought back good memories. I would describe the scent as being earthy, not floral. It is a masculine scent, but it has a freshness to it that makes it inviting as a general air freshener. My partner spritzes this on himself, as well as his bed sheets and pillows when he makes the bed in the morning. I would say the scent lingers about 4-5 hours, which isn't incredibly long, but it's not something that fades rapidly, either. All in all, Grey Flannel is a phenomenal scent for men. I would recommend this as a gift for fathers, husbands, boyfriends, and brothers. I think it transcends age groups as well, so a 15 year old boy can appreciate this as well as a 50 year old man. It's a stupendous cologne!

This "old" scent is timeless. Like all cologne, it smells different on different people. I buy it for my brother and it matches his personality perfectly. It does not work for my husband, tho. It's all in the chemistry!

It is an EDT spray. What a value! Came in a nice looking cloth pouch. Accidentally came across this on Walmart site. Have always loved Azzaro and this.

I got a great deal on the Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel Cologne 4oz. from Walmart. It is what I expected and I would buy it again. The scent is a little dated, but so am I, so that's okay. It comes in the little grey flannel cinch closed bag, no box. I like it.

The scent last on clothing but you need to be up close after 3 1/2 hrs to smell it, has a spicy musk smell when first put on felt like I was smelling fresh picked peppers from my garden, but the dry down is a soft/powdery smell. that's my interpretation, when I sprayed on my self didn't like at first but it grew on me.
