I'm truly impressed by the way that this hand sanitizer leaves my hands. They feel so soft and moisturized and clean at the same time. The bottle that was sent to me was a medium size, but it has lasted me a long time. You get the correct portion size. Every single pump. Your hands literally smell like aloe and leave your hands feeling soft. I rate this germ-X a 10/10!

As a public children's librarian, I go through a lot of hand sanitizer and I'm thrilled to be using one with plant-based ingredients. So how does it work? Killing more than 99.99% of germs with plant based alcohols, the liquid is a thinner consistency that goes on easily. The added vitamin e leaves my hands feeling silky and smells like grass or other greenery. The liquid dries down quickly leaving your hands smooth and sticky free. The pump bottle is easy to use and dispenses a good amount of product. Thank you Germ-X!

I've been using this for a few weeks now. It has a very light fresh scent and the vitamin helps a lot with moisture. It absorbs pretty quickly and the dispenser is just right. I've been bringing this on car trips now to clean my hands in public restrooms.

I think that this is a great option for hand sanitizer if you want something a little less drying. Hand sanitizer can be really grating on the skin if you use it a lot. This one is not perfect, but I found it is much less irritating than the average "plain" hand sanitizer. The scent was quite pleasant and reminiscent of other sweet aloe scented products I have tried. There are also notes of fresh cucumber. The texture is a bit thinner than other sanitizers I've tried. It spreads quickly and thinly without leaving a thick residue, which I appreciated. I do not feel like I have to wash my hands after using it! The packaging is very basic - I wish that there was more effort made to make it more aesthetically pleasing. This product belongs in high traffic areas (kitchens, bathrooms) so I think most people would appreciate something that looks more elegant and less basic. I like that this is natural plant based, which helps environmentally. The dispenser is nice reminder of this, and has a pump that can be closed back up to prevent spills when storing. The scent is not too strong yet it is still effective. There is no alcohol scent or sticky feeling, only soft feeling hands likely due to the Vitamin E ingredient. A little goes a long way, yet keeps hands clean longer.

I was sent the Gem X plant based advanced hand sanitizer to try, and it's quickly become a staple in my routine. The plant based alcohol formula is effective against germs but still gentle on skin- no dryness with frequent use. The light scent is pleasant without being overwhelming, and the quick absorbing gel leaves my hands feeling clean, soft and never sticky. The pump bottle is perfect for my desk at work.

I have been using other plant-based sanitizers for years now but did not know Germ-X had one as well so I was happy to give this a shot. I was pleasantly surprised! The formula does not feel as drying as other sanitizers. It felt a little more like I had lotioned my hands than sanitized them. We keep a bottle on the kitchen counter so we can keep our hands clean as we come into the house and this will work super well.

This Germ-X Plant-Based Advanced Hand Sanitizer is just the type of product I've been looking for. First, I'm loving that this is plant-based, yet still kills more than 99.9% of germs. I feel better using it knowing the ingredients are better and include vitamin E. It has a great fresh, clean scent, and doesn't smell like complete alcohol like some sanitizers. The packaging is efficient and appealing, the leaves design reminds you it's plant based. The sanitizer dispenses easily from a pump, which you can also lock by turning the opposite way. Just a little goes a long way, and the formula feels less drying. I'll definitely be purchasing this as my new regular in the future!

Admittedly, I'm not sure that there's really much of an advantage of having a plant-based hand sanitizer over any other hand sanitizer. In terms of feel and texture, I really can't detect a difference between this sanitizer and any other one that I've used. It seems to function effectively and that's what counts.

Plant based clean ingredients, not to strong of an alcohol scent and it immediately goes away. It is made with vitamin E, and other advanced moisturizing ingredients that make your hands super smooth after using. When I use this it literally feels like I put on lotion not hand sanitizer which is great because I cannot stand dry hands from hand sanitizer. This is also a glove compatible hand sanitizer so if you work in health care you can immediately and easily put gloves on right after use due to the fast drying ability. No waiting around for wet sanitizer hands. It rubs in just like lotion. I've never used a better brand of hand sanitizer that actually kills germs than germ-X, and growing up using nothing but that and then using this has been a game changer. This has a little bit of a thicker consistency as well which is great. I think this is a great alternative to the original.
