Get Out (DVD) [Blu-ray]

Describing this movie is best done after you watch it the first time. If you approach it thinking the plot is original and unpredictable then you've misunderstood why this movie is so great. The appeal is less in what happens plotwise and in the meaning behind each and every scene, discussion, and plot twist with regards to race relations in America today. Coming out in a time when race relations are a hot topic in the news and in politics, the release of the movie was on point. As a result, it has resonated in more demographics than just black ones which was great. It's a conversation starter which was certainly writer/director Jordan Peele's intent. Watch it once and then listen to an interview of Jordan or the stars of the movie in a podcast (because 15 minutes on TV is not enough) and then watch the movie again. There are so many symbols and metaphors in the convos and in the visual setup for a lot of scenes as well.

It's the only thriller I've watched over and over again. Perfect. Great acting and story.

This movie will have you on the edge of your seat. Definitely worth a watch.

This is a Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD for 13 dollars and some change one of my favorite movies.

Enjoyable but somewhat predictable

Great Value. Cheaper than anywhere else at the time.

The case simply doesn't have a latching mechanism to stay shut, two of the corners are cracked and the blue ray disc was loose inside the case.
