It is a buckle style not Velcro which tends to fall to the bottom of the neck any determined dog can chew right through the buckle. Took my small 14 pound dog less then 24 hours to destroy it and then attack his wound which resulted in another vet visit to fix the damage he caused. Would not recommend. I since invested in a Velcro style and it has worked fantastic!

It's a working solution for my dog... and not that hard cone of shame that i used before. He can still drink and eat and nap.. just can't reach those paws to lick!!

one puppy bit a whole in it in the first 5 minuets. the other puppy just took her back leg and pushed it off. i had it on as to where it was all but chocking him.

My dog is a border collie. I ordered the correct size according to the neck measurements and it fit around the neck nicely, however it was not wide enough to keep my dog from licking his stitches on his rear hind leg. If the wound were on his chest back or upper front legs it might have worked but not his stomach or legs.

Be sure to thread your dogs collar through the hoops. This will prevent the dog from removing inflatable collar. It worked well once we discovered that.

Very good value. The large works great for our 80 pound Shepherd. It's been one month and is still inflated. Seems comfortable for him. Only funny issue was our dog opened the plastic air intake while wearing it . After we turned it around so the air intake touches his neck instead of outward he can't release the air. It's very sturdy and he didn't damage it.

The vet gave him a long plastic e-cone. He slung that thing this way and that way n looked at me so funny. He had it off the next day. This one was a Blessing!! Don't blow it as full as u can get it. Leave a LITTLE less air. I did and he hasn't busted it, he even seems used to it now. 4 more days.

My dog has a short neck, so being inflatable was important to me. I enjoyed the low price but the shipping was almost as much as the collar.

I have a mini-pit, about 12" at the shoulder, 16 1/2" neck. It fit easily, she readily accepted it. The problem was she could she could still scratch her head. The very it is supposed to prevent.

This unfortunately did not work for our dog because he was able to get around the donut cone to his neuter incision. It may work for different size and shaped dogs though
