Gianna 5-Tier Bookshelves with Adjustable Shelves, Floor Standing Bookcase for Home & Office Storage, Rustic Brown

The assembly of this bookcase was easy however i recommend having a second person to help put it together because of the size of it. It looks nice in my apartment, and I think it's a decent price for what i got. Its sturdy for the most part however I don't see this bookcase lasting as long as some other ones i have had in the past. I do think it will last a year or more. It holds my books, DVDs, etc. in a decent matter but I won't overdo it. The bottom shelf is a few inches off the ground which helps with not being able to bed over that easily. Covering up the bookcase would be a challenge for me because of disability but it does cover a whole in my wall!

Took me about two hours to assemble, very easy instructions to follow. I recommend using a better screw driver than the small one provided or a drill because it's not really fun constantly trying to twist the screws in.. but definitely use it to secure it in tight towards the last bit (if this makes sense). Overall, definitely would actually purchase another one! Only thing I would change about it is the depth of the shelf, it's not that wide but I used this overall to build a DIY closet for my baby. (Please note, when I was assembling, I took a few pics and it looks taller in the pic than IRL —just fyi) picture not to scale because I was assembling it while sitting on my floor.

This is cheap, do not expect too too much. HOWEVER, this was much much better quality than I expected. First off it's twice as heavy as I thought it would be, the boards they send are decently thick and strong. It was a breeze to put together, maybe 15-20 minutes with someone passing me pieces. It arrived in one box, a day early, and after several months and my dog climbing up the shelves a few times it's held up really well. I'm quite impressed. For $40 you really cant get a better bookshelf.

I like it because it's really pretty unfortunately the instructions were not complete I have so many pieces left over and that scares me because I'm afraid it might become unstable because of that. Right now it feels very sturdy but I'm just afraid because I have pieces left over.

Half of the screw holes didn't line up, even though I made sure everything was placed as it should be. Typically, I have no problem putting together furniture pieces, but this was a nightmare. Had to have my son force the screws in while I tried to hold it together. I absolutely refused to go through the hassle of the process of sending it back. But, several hour, and blistered hands, later we did manage to get it together. It leans forward and it's wobbly, but I'm going to try wood glue and see if that helps. If you have a drill, this may work for you. I do not. I've never needed one before this. It seems from other reviews it's a hit or miss with this product.

Overall, the bookshelves look fine %26 serve their purpose. However, we purchased multiple units %26 there is the same mislabeled piece in each unit--instead of a shelf with a double bevel to allow the backing to slide into each side, a second bottom shelf is labeled as that piece, preventing usage of all the backing. This causes a gap in the back of the shelves.

Was surprised at how much smaller this bookshelf turned out to be especially for the price. Like the finished look of it. Wasn't able to fit as many books as I anticipated and had to turn larger books sideways but basically decided to keep it since I put in all that effort putting it all together.

I ordered this bookshelf for my son to go with the others he already had. Unfortunately he built it and threw the box away before I was made aware that it was not the right bookshelf. I paid the same price for a bookshelf half the size of the one I was expecting.

The top half had the wrong holes to match up to the bottom half, but the middle section they were supposed to meet at had both set of holes, so I'm guessing they screwed up the packaging and put the wrong half, belonging to the other version of this set of shelves, into this package... ergo, it was unusable. I'm returning it.

i have no problem with the item or the seller. i have a problem with walmart making it impossible to simply request one missing part out of four cartons containing a total of 304 parts. andbi have half a mind to retufn it all at walmarts expense to ship 164 pounds back through fed ex. OVER ONE LOUSY PART!!!
