Gibson Home Everyday Square White Stoneware Dinnerware Set, 12-Piece

We absolutely love this dinnerware set. I would change nothing about it. It is exactly what we were looking for. Our 14 year old nephew loves to use them when he visits. He says these 'fancy dishes' make him feel like he is in a restaurant. Thank you as we have been searching for square white dishes for a long time - most sets have round bowls but we love these square ones. Even the cups are square with slightly rounded corners.

I order 5 sets off 12 dishes. The only bad thing about the order was that all 5 sets were packed in 1 HUGE box. I was surprised that they didn't brake during shipping because the plastic airbags they put inside didn't keep it tight inside. It was to big and heavy for me alone to bring it inside the house. They should've pack them separately or at least in 3 separate boxes. Walmart needs to improve packing, so it would be easier on customers and delivery people. Other than that the set is very nice and elegant. I like everything about them. The price, the shape, the color, not to big and they fit nicely in my dishwasher. Just what I was looking for.

Its a basic set, but cute. They're modern. Simple. Yet, they make a statement. Polished. Sushi rolls, salad, pastas, grilled fish... gourmet meals. nothing with too many sides. Dishwasher safe. Cute design. Easy to clean. i Dont use microwaves, so Im noy sure how they work there. ive had them for 6 months. Nothing chipped,cracked or damaged.

I purchased this set together with the expanded 40 piece dinnerware package to have service for twelve. The set arrived well protected with no breakage. My family likes the clean modern lines which compliment the food being presented on them. The shape of the bowls cradle anything from salad and fresh fruit to hot soup. They make a beautiful presentation. The set is dishwasher and microwave safe and appears durable. Affordably priced, this is a winning purchase.

These dishes are a great bargain! If you are just starting out in your first apartment, maybe you have a limited budget... If you want to entertain and have the look of expensive China/Glassware at a fraction of the cost, these dishes are a necessity.

This is my second set. Compared to expensive brands like M*asa, which I've also had, these dishes are amazing. They are simple and can be fancied up adding crystal serving dishes. They do not chip, crack, break, discolor ... no pits. They are indestructible and survive kids' abuse. I bought two service for 4 along with matching pasta bowls ... and ... am using for everyday and entertaining. I am extremely happy with the elegant simplicity.

I do like the dishes, color was exactly as it looked in pictures. And though measurements were given. The bowls are very sleek and attractive but shallow. So they are beautiful for dinner with a salad but not great for soup. Not ideal for cereal either imo. Well made and good quality though. Just smaller than I expected. Would recommend just be aware they are a slight bit smaller than the average dinner set.

My box arrived today, two days earlier than promised. I got two of the 12 piece dinnerware sets. In general I think they are beautiful, but, one of the small plates has a chip in the edge, and a couple of pieces have minor scratches in addition to some glaze bubbles in about a quarter of the pieces. A couple of pieces have a rough spot on the bottom, which I think I will need to sand down or risk those pieces scratching the table or other plates or bowl that they are stacked with.

I’ve never had so many cups, plates and bowls break so easily. They chip in the dishwasher and are super hot to the touch in the microwave. Super disappointed. I bought two sets and don’t even have one full set left after less than six months use. I’ve been careful with them too. Inferior product!

I bought three sets and returned them all. They are cute, but the plates are so tiny. There were about 10 pieces that were chipped when I opened the boxes. I knew they wouldnt last long. The price is amazing though, I guess you get what you pay for.
