But recently I decided to switch things up and try the GilletteLabs razor with the exfoliating bar and honestly, I'm really glad I did. Right from the first shave, I could feel the difference. I used to always use the bag of value razors that tend to be cheaper and go “further” or so I taught. I could feel the difference from the first shave using Gillette's exfoliating bar razor, smoother, sharper, and not having to go back through the same spot more than once. Also, when it's time to replace it, it's more convenient to just switch the top part of the razor with a new head and less costly than the first time when you have to invest to buy the handle, which also comes with this razor stands that I have to admit makes a razor look cool and almost part of my bathroom decoration.

It feels premium and substantial. The stand provided is an added bonus. The shave was close and smooth, gliding effortlessly across my skin with no irritation, or pulling of hair. Hours after shaving, I did not notice any ingrown hairs or irritation bumps. It worked especially well in different places like the neck. I noticed I could go longer between shaves than usual. Even after three uses, the blade still felt sharp. I did find the circular head movement(as shown on the box) to be unnecessary, as I didn't experience that movement at all while shaving. It's hard to tell if the exfoliating bar actually exfoliates. Overall, I prefer this razor to my usual Harry's, though the shave didn't feel much different from other Gillette models and seems to have some unnecessary design functions.

The base is very solid and makes storing it that much easier while also letting the razor dry off faster. The flexdisc feature of the razor itself is another great because it pivots into any spot thats not completely flat while also avoiding potential cuts which ultimately leads to a smoother and even shave.
