[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to try and I was so happy to send a review in because Glad has been my choice of cling wrap for many, many years! Not only does it provide a good sealant for any type of dish but it is BPA free meaning it can be used in the microwave without melting all over the food you are heating up. Highly recommend this cling wrap by Glad!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using cling wrap for years and it seems to just improve with time! I highly recommend using cling wrap when you need to cover your food and don't have a lid, it keeps my food fresh and sealed in the container and I don't worry about spills or my food losing its freshness.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cling wrap is a kitchen staple in my house. From using it to cover leftovers to covering a bowl of dough for proofing. It's an item I always need to have on hand. Glad is a very trustworthy brand. I do like their products and tend to always choose this brand, over others. You get 100 sq ft in this package. The box isn't large, and fits nicely in my kitchen drawer. I'm able to easily dispense the cling wrap, and it tears nicely on the perforated edge of the box. The actual cling wrap feels pretty thick, and doesn't feel like it'll easy get a hole in it or accidentally get punctured. As for how well it clings, I was able to get a nice seal on my glass and ceramic bowls. My metal bowl didn't want to work so well with this cling wrap but, I was able to add an overlap of the cling and it held well enough. I did notice the microwave safe print on the package. I didn't try using this in the microwave, but this would come in handy when reheating a dish and helping to keep it covered. Glad cling wrap is a product I definitely recommend.
I like the wrap itself but am very frustrated with the box. I bought a 400 ft box of the wrap and immediately the glue failed on one end of the box. So I taped it up, then the other end of the box came apart. This was after only a few uses. Now I have to live with the inadequate box for a long time.
You would think this company would come up with an easy way to start the roll. I love the product..but I waste so much trying to get a first clean tear.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a week or so ago and it works well as expected. It's easy to use and does a good job of helping to cover and seal food. I have used it in the past and will continue to use it. It's better than off brands and worth the little extra.
This is the second roll that has had a defective edge that won't cut the wrap. You can see the cutting edge is blocked by the box. How did that pass quality control? Its hard to cut with scissors. This is too expensive to have to tare and waste half of it in order to use any of it. So disappointed in this product. Used to love it.
IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STAR, I WOULD. I BOUGHT ROLL [bar code 12587 00020] IN JUNE 2025 IT WAS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND BEGINNING, THEN AS I WRAP, IT BREAKS BEFORE I CAN USE CUTTER. IT RIPS AT THE EDGE, LEAVING STRIPS AND BITS OF PLASTIC.
Just bought this. Opened the package and it looked liked someone spun it onto the roll at lunch break. Couldn't find the end and it was so wrinkled that I couldn't unwrap it. We had to waste alot to get a piece to wrap food. Bad.
I just opened a 300 foot roll of Cling Wrap the metal cutter has been moved to the lid. Poor design I have no cutter and 300 feet of wrap.
