These bags have so many uses you won't believe it! I bought these to put used feminine pads in so they wouldn't smell up the bathroom. Then I started finding all sorts of uses for them like storing M %26 M's in the fridge.
I prefer the zipper baggies but they were unavailable at the time. These are decent enough. As long as you zip them tightly with your fingers, it seems as though they keep food fresh. Plenty of space in them for food etc.
Just curious, do you make colored variations for the holidays anymore? I used to see red and green or snowflakes printed on it around Christmas but have struggled in the last few years. None of the grocery stores in my area carry it.
Hi. This is a great product, but it needs a tab or something to start a new roll. I would have rated it 5 stars, but by the time you find the beginning of the roll, there is so much waste and this is not an inexpensive item. Please make this better and easier. Thank you!!
I spent a frustrating 10 minutes trying to find the start of a new roll of this product. Although I eventually did so, wasting 2 or 3 feet of the wrap in the process, I was sufficiently irritated to submit this comment. And what do you know? The reviews are filled with similar comments from others. I scribbled on the package "hard to start; try different brand". Congratulations to your design team: you have saved a fraction of a penny and lost a customer!
As many others have stated, huge issue with starting. (Number on box 7325 351 00:11 02). Ultimately, ended up using a razor to start and lost 5 plus feet of useable wrap. I may need to stick with Saran brand. By the way Shannon, your statement is false if there are many people having the same issue, please tell Corporate to fix the issue. Here is Shannon's statement I have seen posted several times. "Shannon from The Glad Team Thank you for trying our Cling'N Seal Wrap. We apologize for the inconvenience. The last few inches of the wrap are lightly embossed to reduce cling and make it easier to use. For further assistance, please call us at 800-835-4523 and reference ref# 260519-000195. We look forward to speaking with you soon." Hey Shannon, the is the start of the roll NOT the last few inches at the end
Unusable. Almost impossible to get it to unroll without tearing, then it doesn't cut along the lid flap without stretching so that it comes off as a useless mess that has clung together. Very frustrating to try to get it to separate so it can be used to, oh, span a bowl. I have to tape it to the counter and cut it with a knife to get a piece that can be used. How this survives in the marketplace is a mystery.
I bought two rolls of Glad ClingNSeal and could not get either roll started no matter how hard a tried. I even tried to cut a starting point with a razor blade and it still would not unroll. Somebody at Glad probably decided that they could make a penny or two more profit by eliminating the easy start tab. I then bought a roll of Reynolds plastic wrap and it works perfectly. I am glad to say goodbye to Glad wrap. I tried to add a pic below but that doesn't even work.
Unfortunately this item arrived by UPS damaged! I hope Walmart will give me a credit, since this will go into the trash!
Doesn’t stick. It seems worse than before, and it was always kinda bad. The Press n Seal product is far better, but for some reason I can’t find it anywhere on shelves lately.
