Glad, Plastic Food, Cling Wrap, 100 Square Foot Roll

Surprised some reviews say Cling Wrap does not work - Always works for our family. One tip: Low humidity can affect plastic wraps. A chilled / damp container may help. BTW: Please drop the "reach out to us" line. It is so dumb. In America we call / contact! Nobody "reaches out" to ask Mom how to do a recipe!

Hi. This is a great product, but it needs a tab or something to start a new roll. I would have rated it 5 stars, but by the time you find the beginning of the roll, there is so much waste and this is not an inexpensive item. Please make this better and easier. Thank you!!

I spent a frustrating 10 minutes trying to find the start of a new roll of this product. Although I eventually did so, wasting 2 or 3 feet of the wrap in the process, I was sufficiently irritated to submit this comment. And what do you know? The reviews are filled with similar comments from others. I scribbled on the package "hard to start; try different brand". Congratulations to your design team: you have saved a fraction of a penny and lost a customer!

As many others have stated, huge issue with starting. (Number on box 7325 351 00:11 02). Ultimately, ended up using a razor to start and lost 5 plus feet of useable wrap. I may need to stick with Saran brand. By the way Shannon, your statement is false if there are many people having the same issue, please tell Corporate to fix the issue. I bought two rolls of Glad ClingNSeal and could not get either roll started no matter how hard a tried. I even tried to cut a starting point with a razor blade and it still would not unroll. Somebody at Glad probably decided that they could make a penny or two more profit by eliminating the easy start tab. I then bought a roll of Reynolds plastic wrap and it works perfectly. I am glad to say goodbye to Glad wrap. I tried to add a pic below but that doesn't even work.

Unusable. Almost impossible to get it to unroll without tearing, then it doesn't cut along the lid flap without stretching so that it comes off as a useless mess that has clung together. Very frustrating to try to get it to separate so it can be used to, oh, span a bowl. I have to tape it to the counter and cut it with a knife to get a piece that can be used. How this survives in the marketplace is a mystery.

IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STAR, I WOULD. I BOUGHT ROLL [bar code 12587 00020] IN JUNE 2025 IT WAS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND BEGINNING, THEN AS I WRAP, IT BREAKS BEFORE I CAN USE CUTTER. IT RIPS AT THE EDGE, LEAVING STRIPS AND BITS OF PLASTIC.

It took forever to find the start and just when I thought things were good, the roll is totally stuck together. I found an edge and all I was able to unroll was a smidgen I CANNOT use this product.

I have used Glad brand Cling Wrap for several years as it is my favorite brand. However, the last two rolls of Cling Wrap I have bought, the quality of the product has gone way down. The plastic sticks to itself, it won't tear along the serrated edge on the box, and the plastic is so thin it sometimes tears when trying to stretch it over a dish. I threw them away. I chalked the first bad roll up to a possible bad batch, but the second bad roll was from a different retailer, in a different size and I still had the same problem. I don't know what happened, but the quality is terrible now. I bought store brand this last time. Very disappointing.

I bought green limited edition plastic wrap to use for holiday baked goods I shared with friends. Wrap was so thin I could not keep it from clinging to itself and could not separate it enough to use. Ended up trashing the whole roll. Won't buy this again,.
