Glidden Fundamentals Commercial White / White Eggshell Interior Paint, 1 Gallon

I think this paint did a very good job considering I didn't prime the area. This was for my clothes closet. Closet looks %26 feels fresh and renewed. I would use this brand for any inside wall. I always used Glidden paints even though it's a cheaper paint. Always did a good job to me.

When I first started painting I was unaware of the differences there were in interior paints. 45 years later I know not to waste my money on trends. This is a good basic paint and primer and I've used Glidden over all other paints for many years. If I need a Sherwin-Williams color I still go to Glidden and have the color matched. You can spend more money but the coverage of this Glidden paint is outstanding.

First of all, I had to look up Youtube videos to learn how to open the can, which has a "plastic lock". It's been a few years since I've opened a gallon of paint, and things have changed. A woman on Youtube showed how she cut through the plastic lock with a knife. I used a small hacksaw. Once there is a cut through that band, you can stick a flat head screwdriver in the slit, and very easily pull off the plastic band. What lies beneath it is a paint can lid just like the olden days ones , but plastic. I ordered white semi gloss. When I opened the can, I was concerned. The paint looked ever so slightly off white. Once on the wall though, I decided that it looked fine ~ and white. I was surprised when I stirred the paint, it was like it was already stirred ~ no separation at all.

Glidden Fundamental White Paint Paint is very nice. It's also very easy to use, and to clean up after also.

My painter had to use two or three coats to cover an existing color. My daughter also used this paint and did not like it at all saying it was thin and the coverage was not good. It was a waste of time and money. Leaves streaks. I would not recommend.

I couldn't tell you how well the paint would because you physically cannot get the stupid plastic lid off. I've tried a painters toll, a regular paint lid opener, pliers, and a can opener but unless I decide to maybe saw through this thing I don't think I'll be able to use it.

Paint can came and was opened during shipment! I would appreciate a free replacement but I'm not sure how to go about that.

This gallon of paint comes with a white plastic safety seal that has NO easy way to get off! I spent an hour trying to get it off the lid so I could open it. A simple pull tab to realease this plastic ring would have been so much easier! I spent over an hour trying to get the plastic ring off %26 had to get my grdson who is bigger %26 stronger than me? Why SO Complicated? Finally my 15 yr old grdson had to get channel locks to get it off? By that time we had damaged its actual lid from trying to get it off? I will never buy this again! Plus, 1st coat provided terrible coverage %26 I will have to do a 2nd coat!

I never received this item . a picture was sent of where the person left it , which was outside of the building , on the step for everyone to see. someone stole it I never got it. I only had the amount needed to pay for this item I could not afford a tip. so the driver left it outside to be stolen, I really needed this item. people who buy stuff from the website should not have to tip if they don't or cant! if this is how Walmart does business , then its shady!

I never opened it but it maybe a good cover for walls that don't need to be cleaned often. Be sure to read where to best use this finish (eggshell) . Online it is recommended for ceilings and walls not trim and doors.
