Glidden Fundamentals Goblin / Gray, Flat Exterior Paint, 1 Gallon

I got 1 gallon of goblin grey (flat finish). To repaint the exterior of an 8x10 outdoor shed. It's not grey at all, is a gorgeous blue. No primer needed to cover a rust red with 1 coat. However, 1 gallon was not enough to cover the entire shed. It only covered 2 sides. I feel this was due to the roughness of the exterior wood. I should have sanded.

Painted front porch. Only needed 1 coat. Highly pigmented, beautiful finish. Top quality.

Obviously, there hasn't been enough time for me to repaint the whole house with my new Glidden Fundamentals Exterior Paint. But I did paint a swath to check its coverage and quality (and color). I have been using Benjamin Moore. The color was rich and well-pigmented. Coverage was equivalent to Benjamin Moore. One good brush equals good coverage. A side note: I am repainting T11 siding, which can be tricky to paint. I am, however, painting over previous paint (did not need priming). Glidden's exterior flat is not "ugly flat" and has a bit of sheen to it. So far so good. I am impressed with the Glidden paint and have fallen in love with this color! I am painting a vintage Craftsman house with the Glidden color 'Goblin'.

Purchased fundamentals satin midtone base with ppg 1022-6 tint (granite), color does not match sample swatch. Mixed well (have professional shaker), brushed it on, let it dry, color is way off. Now I either live with it or take the time to refinish at my own expense. I was a professional auto painter and mixed my own paint so I know a little about paint. Very disappointed in color match.

I was sadly surprised at the low quality of this paint. I have used Glidden before without issue but this time I am disappointed. It's thick but doesn't cover and its very " drippy". The color isn't true to description either. It's called Goblin Grey but its blue. Not happy with the paint or the color.

I wanted dark grey. This is supposed to be dark grey. It looks like navy blue once you paint with it. Now I have to repaint the whole project! 6 hours of my time wasted.
