Life is so simple, and with Walmart delivering items I need, I found it simple, economical, I am freeze up my time to do other things , I'm painting my front porch, and I've heard if you paint your ceiling of your porch sky blue, it helps keep some of the critters away….
This paint has proven to be exceptionally durable and resilient on all my outdoor wood projects. Its application was smooth, and the finish has held up beautifully against various weather conditions. I am thoroughly impressed with its longevity and the protection it offers. Consequently, I will be relying on this product for all my future outdoor woodworking endeavors. It is, without a doubt, a superior choice for any exterior wooden surfaces.
Bought this paint for our stockade fence. It worked well. Easy to apply, we did 2 coats, some areas could use a third. It also worked well in the sprayer we bought. Perfect consistency. Overall a good purchase - it worked well and our fence looks pretty good.
If you are going to paint your fence, or any outside item, this is the paint to buy. It covers beautifully with one coat, dries fast and looks really good. I've bought several gallons from WM. Why? Because although this paint is the best for fence/barn etc and sold at all home improvement stores etc....WM has it cheaper ! And when you need several gallons (and this particular paint is more expensive than normal paint), price makes all the difference !
we used this in a sprayer, on an old 30 yr split rail fence....that has seen better days. we built it when we moved into our brand new home, and sentimentally not ready to demolish it. The paint was perfect for this project and we will see how it holds over the test of time.
you must really stir this paint up if you don't you're going to get something that looks like a watercolor and be very dissatisfied. we used a drill and one of these stir things that goes on a drill once it was stirred up got decent coverage perfect color pretty happy with it
This paint brought my 20 year old fence back to life! It is easy to use and cleans up quickly. I used a roller, brush, and paint sprayer and the paint worked well with all three methods. It definitely required 2 - sometimes even 3 coats, but that's on an OLD fence. The paint coverage is good and it seems to protect the wood well from the elements.
What is "barn paint"? It's more like the whitewash from Mark Twain's Huck Finn. Three coats minimum for decent coverage. Ater two coats I could still read the words and barcode printed on the Home Depot stud. What you save in product cost buying this cheap paint, you'll spend triple that in labor.
well don't have much to say but it was definitely on the shelf too long it had hard clumps in it and after 3 days it sill hadn't dried so I had the hire somebody to pressure wash it off my fans because it just wasn't drying I called up the manufacturer they said it was defective they told me to return it to Walmart I said well it's on my fence how can I return to Walmart they told me to call Walmart and they they probably gladly give me my money back but that didn't happen
I'm hoping this is just a poorly mixed batch, but I got it today and expected to use it. 30 minutes of stirring later, it's still not usuable. I've painted alot of things before and never had this issue. New paint, 10 year old paint, outdoor, indoor, cheap and expensive- I've never had such a mess before even starting. I tried painting with it and it was a mud consistency after vigorously mixing for 30 minutes. I'll try again later and depending how that goes I'll update this review if it ever does the job...
