Glidden HEP Grab-N-Go Onyx Black / Black Flat Interior Paint with Primer, 1 Gallon

I refinished my kitchen cabinets with this brand and it worked fantastic

Love Glidden Paint! Only paint I buy because it's thicker than other brands and you only need 1 coat. Saves time and money! I've painted inside my house and outside my house. It basically has no odor and the colors are gorgeous! I recommend Glidden Paint for any job!

The paint went on great, dried to the touch as stated. The only thing I didn't like about it is the color of the finish. More of a smokey grey vs black. Best way to put it, is if you have a hazy top coat on black paint. Looks good but just not the look I was going for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paint does fine on a modern, smooth surface. It does not take well to surface imperfections or painted materials such as plaster or concrete found in older buildings. Any stains will need to be covered by primer first because Fundamentals has very poor hiding ability. Spred is a significantly better paint to work with.

We really liked the coverage and finished look of a paint color we had mixed using the Glidden High Endurance Plus Interior Paint + Primer Base 1. However , we are no longer able to find it in the store even though it is listed on the Glidden website. Tried reaching out using the Contact Us form but kept receiving an error. Also tried reaching out via FB but no reply. If this has been discontinued, it would be great to know if Glidden has a replacement base that is as awesome as the High Endurance Plus Interior Paint + Primer Base 1 .

It looks good on what I did get to finish. Did not get the coverage as the other colors I bought. I only got 3 doors and some cabinets painted before I ran out. Does not cover as I would expect a black paint to cover. Had to do 2 coats on a door and still a quite a few touch ups. I had to order another gallon to finish my project. Doesn't want to cover white paint at all. This paint is thicker than normal but I was afraid to add any water since the coverage was minimal to begin with. I'm happy with the finished results but I would have expected it to cover a simple brown door better than it did. If you buy it get an extra gallon.

I'm doing an intricate wooden door so it has to be done with a brush.I'm hurrying as fast as I can.But the paint is drying too fast when I go to the next panel.If I touch the last panel that was painted two minutes ago , the paint starts to pile up. This paint is almost too thick.It's galopy , and it dries way too fast. I'm going to have to do with second coat , but not with this paint. It's a one hundred and ten year old door and it didn't come out the way I expected. I tried to add an image , but it wouldn't let me.

The coverage was not good. You can see things underneath the paint after 3 coats very disappointing I bought the cheaper frost grey paint from glidden and it worked much better and doesn't scuff as easy
