Has a slight bluish grey tint wet. may be lighter grey when dry but still a very mild color. Great coverage for lowest price type.
It went on really well and quick to dry.i did 2 coats cause I went over a darker color. The price was good too. Ordered online and came when it said it was coming
I wanted to paint the interior walls of our garage without spending a bunch of money. I picked this "ready to go" paint because I liked the color and gave it a try. It worked great for what I needed!!
🎨 Coverage %26 Application This paint is surprisingly easy to work with. Goes on smoothly with both roller and brush Doesn’t splatter too badly Spreads evenly without much effort Coverage is rated at up to ~400 sq ft per gallon , which is pretty standard—but in real life: Light colors over light walls → 1 coat can work Dark colors or patchy walls → expect 2 coats 👉 Honest take: It’s not true “one-coat” paint, but it’s decent for the price. ⚡ Dry Time (“Spread Fast” Claim) This is one of its best features. Dries to the touch in about 30–60 minutes Ready for another coat in a few hours That makes it great for: Quick room makeovers Same-day projects People who don’t want to wait forever 👉 It actually lives up to the “fast” part. 🧽 Durability %26 Washability For a budget paint, durability is solid: Washable and scrubbable finish Holds up to light cleaning Has some mildew resistance But: Not as tough as premium paints Heavy scrubbing can wear it down over time 👉 Good for bedrooms, living rooms, and light-use areas—not ideal for high-traffic abuse zones. 🌬️ Smell %26 Indoor Use Another strong point: Low odor / low VOC Doesn’t stink up your whole house Safe for indoor use without major ventilation issues This matters more than people think—especially in small spaces. 🎨 Color Options %26 Finish Glidden offers: Popular, pre-mixed colors (“Grab-N-Go”) Multiple finishes: flat, eggshell, semi-gloss Colors tend to be: Neutral-friendly (grays, whites, beige tones) Consistent from can to can 👉 Not as customizable as premium brands, but good enough for most homes. 💸 Price %26 Value This is where it really shines. Typically around $20–$30 per gallon Much cheaper than premium brands like Behr or Sherwin-Williams 👉 You’re getting: Paint primer combo Decent coverage Fast drying At that price, it’s hard to beat for basic projects. 👍 Pros Very affordable Fast drying (big advantage) Easy to apply Low odor, indoor-friendly Good enough coverage for most jobs 👎 Cons Usually needs 2 coats Not ultra-durable Limited “premium” feel Color depth isn’t as rich as higher-end paints 🧠 Final Verdict Is Glidden “Spread Fast and Go” paint worth it? 👉 Yes — for budget-friendly, quick home projects 👉 No — if you want luxury-level finish or maximum durability Rating: 4/5 ⭐ It does exactly what it promises: ✔ Spreads easily ✔ Dries fast ✔ Gets the job done Just don’t expect premium results at a budget price.
my daughter inlaw is using this in her bathroom as a extra protection to protect from mold forming
Says frost gray but it’s actually light blue no gray in it except when wet
This is the same color as the cheap gray Quicksilver paint, and it covers just as bad. I expected to have to put three or four coats of the cheap paint on, but not with the Gray frost it was supposed to be one coat and cost a lot more. I still expected to have to put two coats on with it even though it said one coat but I had to paint four coats with it too and when I compared the two gray colors they we're just the same. It looks to me like they just labeled them differently, but it's the same paint. I'm painting all the inside and outside of my house this year, but I won't be buying anymore of this paint from Walmart. I was very disappointed now I'm going to have to buy more paint somewhere else and repaint this. I didn't want just plain gray. That's my fault I should have stopped after the first coat.
If you think my pics look bad, you should see it in person, it’s HORRIBLE!!! All the good reviews are promotional. This paint goes on like water %26 runs terribly!!! 2 coats %26 it still looks like the first. Thank God it’s only on one wall in my bathroom because it will take forward just to do this one wall. Please don’t buy this paint, it’s not like any paint I’ve ever used in my life! Glidden is out! Never again will I use their paints!
Worst paint I ever bought, mostly water
2 out of cans had oily water in them
