Global - 8 inch, 20cm Chef's Knife,Silver

There are a lot of counterfeit Global knives on the internet. I was sent two G-2's. I ordered 1 G-2 and one GF-98. I got two G-2's. Both were counterfeit. One quick way to check is put a magnet on handle: if it sticks it is counterfeit. Global knife handles are not magnet, but the blades are.

Excellent knife, perfect in every way.

This is a really nice size to add to your knife collection; more than a paring knife, yet not so large that it's overkill for most projects. The blade is thin but not flexible. Because it's Global, you know the quality's great. And the price, when I bought it on sale, was terrific!

The packaging was flimsy and not what was expected. The Knife was lighter than expected.

This is an excellent knife. I just have to replace my stash of band aids, having discovered that the slightest touch on the blade draws blood. No matter! Great knife. A few reviews, here and there, were concerned that the metal handle would be slippery when wet. Nope. And I like the handle because I can hold the knife with my thumb and index finger on the blade, or my whole hand on the handle. Very comfortable. And the price? $28 for a $150 knife? Somebody in marketing at Walmart may have some explainin' to do.

This was recommended to me and is now my favorite knife that I pull out of the knife block (prefer this to Henkel). Light balanced and wicked sharp. Only issue has been my wife prefers a smaller knife so we then ordered the smaller size. Now we have two there is happiness at the cutting boards in the kitchen.

Walmart is selling counterfeit Global G2 knives. if you pay for it and buy one of these don't be surprised if it is a counterfeit. Look for a serial number and a no secondary bevel on the edge. actual Global G2 knives have a serial number and do not have a secondary bevel on the edge.

This is not an original Global knife. I own a whole block of Global knives. This is a cheap copy. You can see it in the box right away. The laser inscription on the knife is also not done right. Is very light in weight. The handle is made of thin metal and hollow. DO NOT BUY THIS COPY.

I have owned the identical knife for 25 years. It is the best knife I've ever used. Anthony Bourdain loved these knives. I can't believe the price. I bought two. Have one to a granddaughter who is just starting housekeeping and undecided about the other. I may just keep it myself. Beautiful as well as razor sharp.

I have seen so many negative reviews about this product and was hesitating to buy it, but It was the cheapest option I could find for a stainless steel kitchen knife and omgggggg I love this productt !! The quality is way better than I expected and it looks exactly like the pictures. I've already gotten so many compliments on its sharpness and durability! Definitely worth the money!
