Betta did not like it - the black reflected back and bothered him. Water was very strong coming out.

To loud
I really wanted to like this tank, the filter is way to loud and upon checking other reviews people were saying the tanks filter is way to strong and hurt their fish, I wish I did more research before buying this tank..

Great little talk.
Good tank but plastic to parts were not packed properly so light and splash guard are bent.

good and bad
Really nice and cost effective gift for my little guy's 1st fish tank experience. However, the product came and was missing the power adapter for the LED light...which happens to be the coolest feature of the tank set-up...

love love love it!!
GloFish Cycle Shadowbox 3 gal Desktop Starter Glass Aquarium Kit has everything you need to start and works well. It comes with a nice glass aquarium with a square shadow box. It is really different looking than the other aquariums. It has a great and easy to use filtration system that is hidden from view. Its a 3 step system with mechanical chemical and biological filtrations. It also has a adjustable flow filter pump which is a great feature. It has an LED lighting system that moves up out of your way when you need to get into the tank. You just lift it up and pull it down. The lights have 4 light modes sunlight moonlight midnight and twilight mode. We have it set up and have a Betta in it and everything is thriving including the live plants. He is one happy fish. I highly recommend this quality product
