As item protects anything I plug in behind my dresser or sofa. The plugs do not get crushed by furniture, creating a hazard.

We used this adapter for an electric outlet that was behind a book shelf. Now we can use the outlet AND we have 3 additional plug-ins. Perfect!

Good quilty
Nice side tap, although they do not supply the side screw with it if you want to screw it into your outlet more permanently you get got a hardware store visit in your future.

Great outlet extender with one flaw.
These outlet adapters are great where there is limited room in front of the outlet to plug in cords. The screw to secure it to the outlet is not provided so one star off for that.

Space saver!
I like the side plugs because I have a small house. These let me save space by not having cords sticking out into the room. Also easier to hide.

Didn't help my problem.
I wanted something that would plug into the wall outlet and my lamp plug would not stick out so much behind my dresser. When I put this into my electric outlet, it's stuck out every bit as far as the plug that I bought it for. In fact, even farther. It also was very very very difficult to get Into a wall outlet. it just didn't want the fit! I tried it in three different ones and it only would go into one outlet. It's great that it has a total of six plug-ins however, if you can't get the darn thing into your wall outlet, it's kind of worthless. It also was very difficult to get the plug into one of the 3 side outlets. It did not want to accept the lamp plug at all.
