When I moved from a humid climate of a coastal city in the Southwest to a dry area of the Mid-Atlantic I noticed that I would get little dry patches occasionally. I used Vaseline lotion, body butters, and a number of other brands which would take a week or more to resolve the issue and leave me feeling greasy. One day I was back home and an Uncle suggested this Gold Bond product. I tried it and was initially impressed with how moisturized I felt without feeling greasy. I was even more impressed when the little dry skin patch I had disappeared within three days. I've been using a little bit of this product when I get out of the shower daily and I haven't had any more dry skin spots over the past sixteen months since. Wonderful product. Highly recommended.

I really like this product i learned to use with my mom because shes diabetic and her insurance OTC covers for small one' and she started using when she was receiving chemo the clinic gave her samples for dryness of side affects of chemo and it works great. I use for dryness of skin

Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Cream/ Aloe is the very best cream I have ever tried ! It leaves my skin moist but not sticky or oily. It is even better than several doctor- recommended treatments for very dry skin. I am 71 years old and have never found a more useful or pleasant product for my skin!

I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. Gold Bond lotion is so thick and creamy, therefore it provides great moisture and relief for dry skin. If you have cracked heels it works wonders without burning or irritating your skin at all. I'm so impressed with the results and happy to have a family size bottle. I would definitely recommend this lotion to anyone with extra dry skin.

I just love Gold Bond Lotion - Healing it is the best over the counter lotion I have ever used for mine and my kids dry skin. The lotion is great. I buy it every time for my very dry skin. I wash my hands constantly at work and this is very soothing. I would have given it 5 stars, but it is so thick that when you get towards the bottom it doesn't want to come out of the pump. I have to turn it upside down and tap it out.

This is the thickest lotion I've ever used but it does such a fine job on my dry skin, I put up with the annoying pump dispenser issues. I had to wash out the pump tube before it would work the first time and it clogs easy. I have purchased the cream version of this in a tube and it is easier to use but so wasteful getting a lot of it out when near empty. If you are buying their diabetic lotion or the healing lotion, try this, it works better for me than either of those.

We *used to LOVE this lotion. My daughter’s skin is really dry and sensitive and this was the best lotion that worked for her after trying a million different kinds. However, Goldbond recently changed the formulation of this lotion and took out their 3rd best ingredient-dimethicone- entirely! It doesn’t work even half as well anymore. Such a disappointment. Another company going cheap to save money and charging consumers more for a worse product. BOO! 👎🏻 So disappointing. Do they honestly like long time users won’t notice the difference?!? 😒

Just echoing some of the other reviews here. I've used this lotion for years but this last purchase I could tell something had changed the second I pumped it out. Checked the ingredients against my old bottle, sure enough the formula has changed, unfortunately for the worst. It's nowhere near as thick as the old formula, it's much more watery so it doesn't absorb as nicely and I do agree that the smell is slightly off. Always a bummer when something that you liked perfectly well is abruptly changed and then it's back on the hunt for a replacement.

Gold bond changed their product and I do not like it as well as before. I would use the lotion right after my shower and it would go on great but now it does not go on as before. I’ll have to go to another product
