Golden Flake Super Strips Red Pepper Fried Pork Skins, 3.5 oz Bag

I love this snack, but the price always varies. Keep the price at $1.98 is a good price for this product when you take the price to $10 a bag that is unacceptable for a 3.5 ounce bag of skins. I bought them at $1.98 and went to get them again. They were $10 a bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Super Strips are crunchy, but not hard. And the red pepper is not too much, but gives them just a bit of zing! They are a great keto snack and are quite filling. They are a great companion with the Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce Pork Rinds, with the traditional light crunch. Both are quite tasty and are perfect snacks.

I was not eating pork skins because pork isn't good for my body and basically I don't eat it. However, I started a NO SUGAR OR SWEETENER DIET. I was carrying 344 pounds and I was so frustrated. This is after Covid. I was eating what I wanted and not exercising. It got to the point in which something had to be done. I was taking Trulicity, but it was not working because I was not eating properly. I did some praying and some studying. I began a journey of NO SUGAR and in a matter of days, I lost my appetite and the weight started melting. After I got a new Primary doctor, he talked to me about changing from Trulicity to Mounjaro. He said I would lose more weight and he was right. The weight just flew off to the tune of 125 pounds after a year and a half. I am so happy that food doesn't dictate my life any longer. Now, I might eat a meal most days. Sometimes I fast 1-3 days and sometimes I nibble on a little of something just to have food in my stomach. Now, about these skins: They are crunchy and delicious, and, above all, no carbohydrates, meaning no carbs that turns into sugar, then turns into FAT on your body..

This is a great crunchy snack to eat with a cheese stick or by itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We first tried these when traveling through Mississippi. They have a wonderful texture and a great flavor! When I couldn't find them in a local store I was so happy to find them here. They are truly the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved pork rinds but felt like they were a bit dry and too light on the pallet for my taste. The nice thick line of fight on many of the strips is amazing. They are far more substantial, have a bit of moisture to them, and have a great crunch. Every once in a while I find one that has the skin, fat, and meat, kind of like a piece of deep fried thick cut bacon. Those pieces are by far my favorite. I'd pay double or triple for a bag of those. You will find that some of the strips are very hard so if you have any kind of dental problems I'd stay away from this snack. I also find it difficult to hit my calorie goals for the day but with this snack I am able to. I'll sometimes finish a whole bag in one go.

I am not sure what or who decided to make changes to your product but the superstrips were great and now the strips are no longer strips. The amount of fat or crackling attached has gotten smaller. I am sure you noticed that sales were great... whomever decided to make changes are messing up your profit. Just wait and see they are no longer the same and we notice.

Ridiculous price for this product I love these but it hurt my feelings to eat them at the price I paid for one bag. Outrageous
