I was given the Goodcook Acrylic Holder with toothpicks to use and review. This is a really nice and attractive toothpick holder. This toothpick holder measures approximately 3-10/16” H 1-3/4” W The toothpicks provided are flat on 1 end & pointed on the opposite end and are 2-9/16” long. The Goodcook Acrylic Holder is sturdy and has several raised circular areas close to the bottom which not only look good but makes it easier to hold while you unscrew the lid or turn the top to get a toothpick. The colored top part (mine is black) screws on the entire lid. The white part at the top you turn to open or close the hole to shake out the toothpick(s) you want. The toothpicks provided are round but will also hold flat toothpicks because the hold at top of the lid is large enough to shake out 1 or more toothpicks. The Goodcook Acrylic Holder is a very attractive and useful item for any kitchen or wherever toothpicks are used.
Toothpick Dispenser This is not just your average toothpick holder; it is a toothpick dispenser. When you turn the cap there is a hole to dispense your toothpicks. I like this because it helps keep them a bit more “per say” sanitized without people reaching their hand in and just grabbing one. The toothpicks themselves are very sturdy; I would even use them for finger sandwiches or when you are serving Hors d'oeuvre items. Whatever your need is to use a toothpick weather getting something out of your tooth or grabbing a cube of cheese from the cheese tray these will work great.
I love them because they do the job.
This isn't very big so it's easy to place on my stove. It came with toothpicks even though I had a box. You just turn the lid to the opening hole and shake out how ever many toothpicks you want. I like to bake so I keep toothpicks around in a draw then get them out when I'm taking my baked goods out to see if they are done. I don't have to do that now. They are always there on my stove and I just shake one out when I'm ready.
My husband is a habitual toothpick user so we always have a supply in the kitchen drawer. This holder is so great as now the toothpicks are not in a broken box but have their own holder. SO much neater. My husband also has some numbing in his fingers so was pleased how easy the lid turns to expose the hole and release the toothpick. He is happy and so am I.
I had never in my life know that something like this existed. I'd leave toothpicks in the box they came in or put them in a shot glass for parties. This beats it all! The toothpicks stay clean & dust free. The holder is about 3 & 1/2"s tall by 5 & 1/2 "s in diameter. It is easily wiped clean, takes up less space in a cabinet, and the toothpicks won't fall out as they did in the box.Simple solution!
This is a great little toothpick holder! It holds lots of toothpicks, so refills are not needed often. The top is very sturdy. The mechanism to open the dispenser is super smooth. The toothpicks are dispensed very easily. I would definitely recommend this dispenser if you are a home, like mine, who enjoys toothpick usage.
This Goodcook Acrylic Holder with Toothpicks that I got from the Spark Reviewer program seems to be good quality for toothpicks. The toothpicks themselves seem sturdier than many others I've bought. The bamboo toothpicks have a point at one end and are carved at the other with a blunt top making them decorative for other purposes and for safety. The acrylic holder is attractive with a twist top revealing a hole from which to shake out a toothpick. It has pretty silver rings around the bottom. Usually I would hide toothpicks away, but this container is so cute I'm willing to leave them out for convenience.
My father is a true toothpick user and goes through multiple a day. This toothpick holder is so very handy to have around. It is a true dispenser, and it has a dispensing mechanism at the top of the small holder. This way, you can take out one or however many toothpicks you want. I also like that it's a dispenser and not just a holder because when you reach for a toothpick in a holder, you're bound to touch other toothpicks, and it's not sanitary. This dispenser solves that issue. It's well made, is simple to use, and has the capacity to hold quite a few toothpicks. It arrived already filled with toothpicks that have a design and are pretty enough to be used for sandwiches, meatballs, or any other finger foods!
I recently received the Mainstays Goodcook Acrylic Holder for toothpicks from Walmart as part of their Sparkreviewer program. The package arrived in good time and was packaged securely with no damage. The holder itself is made of clear acrylic with a white and black acrylic screw top. The packing states that it is large enough to hold up to 200 standard sized toothpicks. You can either unscrew the top to take a toothpick out, but by doing this you have to tip the dispenser and you would probably end up touching other toothpicks. The other way to dispense a toothpick is through the little hole on the top of the dispenser. You need to twist just the white portion of the screw on top until you see the dispenser hole, shake it, and one to 3 toothpicks will come out at a time. I tried several times and more often than not, more than 1 toothpick came out at a time and I found that to be a little wasteful. Also, be careful to twist just the white portion of the screw top to dispense. Apparently, I did not do this and when I tipped the dispenser over to test it the entire top came off and half of the toothpicks wound up on the counter, lol. Pro's: • Clear acrylic so you can see how many toothpicks are available • Easy screw on/off top to prevent spilling • Dispenser hole • More attractive looking than a box of toothpicks • Less chance of germs spreading to other toothpicks by using the dispenser Con's: • More than one toothpick comes out most times so toothpicks are wasted • Chance of unscrewing the top incorrectly, which can result in the entire cover coming off and spillage • Only one person can use at a time and this could result in longer wait time for food unless you have multiple dispensers This product is a step up from a regular box of toothpicks and I would recommend it to others.
