These are used at the stores to dip donuts. They are nice for breading chicken, cleaning shrimp, etc. They are shallow so you can use both hands in the bowl. They are oven safe if you want to melt something or fill with water to create steam to clean your oven. A solid bowl for a decent price. I'll probably order another one. If you are looking for a mixing bowl to use with a hand mixer you may want to consider a taller bowl.

Bought the 3 pack of these bowls; so happy with the price and quality I went back and got another set. I do large scale baking at holidays and uniform sized bowls are very handy to have. These bowls are 4 quart (would hold 1 gallon) and perfect for mixing anything. Nice folded rim to hang onto. I Highly recommend.

Nice bowl for the money - I just wanted something to make Cole slaw with. This is handy to cut the cabbage into the bowl, and it is deep enough when using a cutter that the cabbage does not fly out all over the counter. Suited my need just fine and of course can be used for other things also.

Exactly what I needed, a big, lightweight bowl for popcorn. I make popcorn in a big skillet on the stove. When I transfer it to a serving bowl, if the bowl is not as wide as the skillet some popcorn spills. This bowl is wide enough to avoid that problem. It's light, won't break if (when) I drop it, and is not plastic. Perfect. Know that the bowl is light and thin as compared to other such bowls I have used. I think it is plenty sturdy for mixing should that be a concern but ymmv.

I bought this for my restaurant. It's perfect and definitely restaurant quality without the restaurant supply store price. I'll be purchasing another one. It is dishwasher safe and has been washed in a commercial dishwasher. Definitely worth it. Highly recommend.

It's only me and I needed a bowl for different tasks in the kitchen, not a lot of space. So this bowl was perfect. One size but different uses. I can make pizza dough, defrost meat, wash veggies and fruits. It's sturdy, strong and easy to clean. I thought the size would be to big, but it works very well.

quality is wonderful and shiny colors are silver appearance great ease of use - i see it for my dogs but i can use it for anything such as mixing food in a large bowl. i like these bowls very much as they do not tumble over when i use meat mixes in it and it is good for stacking and also great durability

I use this beautiful bowl for lots of things in my kitchen. It's always gleaming so when it's not being used for mixing, it makes the fruit look chic. It's great for making large salads, mixing apple pie ingredients, displaying fresh fruit %26 it feels substantial.

I like the bowl but i use a hand mixer and the is a little too short to use a hand mixer because it slings things all over the edge. It is kind of obvious now when I look at it but the words "mixing bowl" made me not question it lol. I still kept it and use it but just not as a container to cream butter and sugars together.

It is a nice quality product. It has a nice finish to the metal. 4 quarts is a versatile size. It is good for food prep or serving as a salad bowl. I purchased 3 bowls and they nest perfectly. The 3 bowls take up minimal space and weigh much less than a single glass bowl of a similar size. It has a nice rim so it is easy to carry. It is thick enough that it does not dent the side with finger pressure. It will clean easily and it is sturdy and durable. IIt is a gift so it will mean less plastic in their kitchen.
