Very nice thermometer
This is a very good digital thermometer and it also has a magnetic for putting on your stove or refrigerator so its handy when you need it

A Tiny Phillip's Head Screw Driver is Required
The battery has paper that has to be removed before you can use this. This keeps the batteries from being turned on and consumers ending up with run down batteries. However, the battery case is locked with a tiny Phillip's head screw, which requires a screwdriver in that size to open it. It is not a size most people have in their tool kit. If they were going to do this, they should have included a tool to open the battery case with the product. I cannot imagine anyone thinking this arrangement is a good idea. I have to search hardware stores to even use it and didn't discover that it needed a tool I didn't have until I was in the middle of baking bread.

Does NOT work
It would NOT turn on. I pulled the tab from the battery and nothing. Unscrewed the battery compartment to check it. Put the battery back in. Still nothing. Too bad i actually needed it for my dinner roast I have in the oven on Christmas day. Very disappointed!

This product never worked from the time I opened the package even until now. It is in the box with stuff to be returned to Walmart but I have no transportation to get it there. The product is unusable!
