Oh it peels, it peels about as good as I wanted and it is cheap. Granted I've had it for a few weeks and only peeled carrots but I like it.

I used it to peel potatoes and carrots and it works well. It is bigger than my previous one so it feels a little different. It takes some practice to get comfortable with this. Overall it is a very good value and works well.

If I could give this a zero I would. This is the worst peeler ever!! How is that possible? is that possible? Yes it is!! I am now a believer!! How can a peeler be so completely dull when it is brand new??? I had to go over the peeler several times just to get it to peel a slice of the potato. Its visually beautiful but a cheap piece of junk I should have just gone to the dollar tree! wont peel a potato or cucumber or zucchini or squash!

This is the dullest blade I have tried to use. I bought 2 of these because I liked the other vegetable peeler. I certainly wasted my money.
