Stainless steel material. It has two little tabs that make it perfect to place on top of a large bowl or pot. It is perfect for rising my beans after soaking them overnight.

Nice strainer
Large strainer perfect for my needs. Easily and securely attaches to bowl so I can strain or press down food. I used it to strain blackberry seeds for jam so far and am pleased with results. Nice thickness to handle so it's easy to hold.

The handle is a bit flimsy, needs to be stronger, the mesh part is shallow, not a very deep bowl shape. The metal holding the handle and mesh is a good design though

This is too shallow for most kitchen uses. Description of this item should alert buyers that it is shallow!
