This ice cream scooper is perfect. I use it all the time, and it works all the time. Great design; great quality; great ease of use. 5/5. Would buy again.

was used to serve potato salad, operation of it was easy for most that used who said the release was also eary..didn't use for hard ice cream but could and good to know that dishwasher safe

Design looks functional, but only scoops ice cream: unable to push out scoop with plastic part. Will purchase a solid steel scoop, not bother looking for part to push out ice cream.

I've only had this for about 2 months since purchasing and have barely used it but the metal piece that swipes inside the scoop to get the ice cream out broke. So now I have just a regular scooper and would have to use a spoon or so to remove ice cream from the scooper.

aint even use it but once ti get my daughter ice cream on cone the green piece with metal through it. couldnt push ice cream out the scoop with the sliding piece thats in center.

This broke after a couple of uses. The piece that pushes the ice cream out comes loose, then eventually what that hooks into broke off.

It's supposed to be spring loaded, but there's no spring that I can see and when you use the button, it doesn't spring back like it should

I used this ice cream scoop twice successfully until it broke. The scythe to empty the scoop broke right off rending the tool completely useless. Poor design and cheap materials. $6 for two uses.

It matched my kitchen stuff. It was affordable. I didn't even gst a single scoop of my ice cream beforw the dang thing broke in my hand. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

The piece of metal that goes along the inside of the scoop to release whatever you're scooping is extremely fragile. After one scoop of ice cream the metal part broke. It is now just a normal scoop without the luxury of a release button. I recommend buying a different one.
