GoodCook PROfreshionals 9" Stainless Steel 4-Sided Box Grater, Red

The grater I was replacing had a plastic handle that capped the stainless steel body and food would get trapped between the plastic handle and stainless steel body. This product doesn't have that issue, it's the same design my Grandma and Momma have used my whole life.

it had all the right features I needed and made my life easier because I have to drink a special shake everyday with a lime peel on it and peeling alignment to piece of small enough to drink he's a big chore without something like that to help you out

I had a small, flat one sided one. Too small and tedious to use. I love the 4 sided with the convenient handle. Much more efficient, and easier to use. Better cutting and shredding with more results quicker. Very happy and satisfied with this item.

When I was younger I used a grater just like this one. I stopped using it because I was in a hurry . I was slicing cheese and ran over my palm. That was my error. Now I take my time and pay attention, lessen learned. I was having a party the next day when I realized at 11 PM I couldn't find my grater. I grabbed my phone, clicked on Walmart's app. Ordered it and delivered the next day, in time for the party. I just loved on how well it grated my cheese. I need to hold onto this one. I have parties every month where I live. A friend said, why didn't you buy the preshredded cheese. I said it is much easier if you use a grater, better quality and it's quick.

Ive purchased this same product before, have to replace at least once a year because obviously since its steel, it will rust. It is hard to clean, suggest using a kitchen cleaning brush, perhaps one used to clean inside straws. Otherwise for the price, its a good purchase.

I am so glad that I purchased this grater. It makes my cutting experience so easy. You have four different shredding options. I love to cut up my fruit , onions and etc. Cleaning is very simple.

The metal is weak and flexes just as reported but it's $4.44. I wanted the box style to shred cheddar cheese. I does that BUT when you only see it on a computer screen you do not notice that the shred grate is large producing a cheese shred at least 3/8" wide, not the finner shred that I get with my harder to use hand held shredder. The other grate sides I did not use.

The problem with this is 2 sides are devoted to “zesting”, one being larger than the other. What happened to fine grating? The largest zesting star-shaped spikes are not useful for fine grating cheese. Shame on me for ordering online and not looking at all sides of the provided images. I think it was assumed that all box graters just had a slicer, zester, large grater, %26 fine grater side. Knowing I would need to spend a few more dollars would have been worth it for something I was just going to leave behind at the temporary apartment I'm staying at.

I placed an irder for a qty it said you had. than found out you couldn't fill the order. didn't know this until I drove to pickup. web site still said you had them. I went in store found them on shelf. so the convince of order pickup is not good. had to get myself

The design of this 4 sided grater isn't nearly as good as a single sided grater. 4 sided makes so you can't angle it. You cannot see your work well. Also cannot see where your fingers %26 knuckles are while grating. You really have to push forcefully the food item you're slicing. Food doesn't glide easily through the grates. What it does grate well is your skin! Ouch! It's also a pain to wash. I'm going back to the 1 sided grater. Dislike this 4 sided one.
