These are my favorite hair ties. I’ve been using them since they first came out years ago. I only have to buy two packs of these a year. I have noticed a little decline in quality lately though. I could easily use one hair tie for three or four months before I felt like it was time to grab a new one. Now , within two months, little elastic pieces start sticking out by the ball piece and I have to get a new one because that exposed elastic starts to pull my hair. They never used to do that.

They are very durable my daughter has hair to her bum and I haven't found a better hair tie to make her perfect bun I hope they never stop making these they are amazing for curly hair

They have the perfect amount of flexibility and thickness that gives the perfect amount of hold. They hold my long, thick hair up without it falling down throughout the day. Yet it's not so tight that it leaves creases in my hair and gives me a headache. The little bead and seams make for a cute look on or even when I'm not using it and wear it on my wrist. I thought the little bead would hurt my wrist, but it doesn't. I like how the packaging allows you to see the hair ties and also the minimalist aspect of it as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with very thin, fine hair, finding a hair tie that actually stays put has always been difficult. Im on my feet and active all day at work, which means most ties- especially the spiral rubber ones- start slipping and I'm constantly stopping to fix my hair. These Goody Black forever ties have worked out great. Three wraps and my hair is locked in for the whole day. Fair warning though: if the tie is brand new, three wraps can be tight- tight enough that I've ended up with a headache. After a few uses they loosen up just enough to hit the sweet spot of secure without being uncomfortable. The seamless bead closure lives up to its name- no snags, no damage, and I don't notice any breakage compared to other brands. And yes, they look perfectly fine sitting on your wrist! My only real complaint is that the fabric coating holds onto moisture like a sponge. I work in a hot, humid environment (middle of Florida) and I sweat. A lot. These ties stay wet for a long time, and a damp, stinky hair tie is not pleasant. As for the kink it leaves in your hair at the end of the day- that's just hair ties being hair ties. No complaints there. Bottom line: if you need serious hold for fine hair- these deliver. Just keep a backup on hand if you're a heavy sweater.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are pretty good! I have heavy hair and I like to run a lot. These don't slip down like traditional hair ties while I'm running. I did knock a star off because they can get stretched out too much and start to hold less efficiently.

They don't have a plastic smell like other brands. They are very strong and hold styles well. The packaging was sleek. Great quality overall. I also noticed I had less breakage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These hair ties promise “forever” stretch and elasticity with ouch-less hold, 3x strength of regular hair ties, 16 strand inner core, and a seamless bead closure. I like the look of the bead closure with the wavy edges and black on black which makes it look like a fun bracelet. I don't understand the design of the back half that doesn't have any waves however. I think it would be cuter if the waves went all the way around. The ties themselves are stretchy and strong, as described, and really do stay tight in your hair! I wouldn't say I have thin or thick hair (really a medium consistency), but I only needed two turns of the hair tie to hold my hair in a bun and a third (if desired) for a very tight fit. Other hair-ties I would typically need 4-5 turns for a secure hold. Unfortunately I like to have a hair tie on my wrist with my hair down (is it a millennial thing or a sweaty girl thing??) and these are too tight to be comfortable on my wrist. But for those who want a very tight and secure hold on medium and thick hair, these are for you!

These are no longer forever elastics. When they first came out they were absolutely fabulous and held together for a very long time. Lately, I’ve been getting maybe a week out of a hair tie before I start to see broken elastic strands coming out of it. These catch and pull on my hair. I wish they would start making them like they used to again
