Google Home Max - Chalk

I love this thing. Be aware - it is HUGE. But it has superb bass sound, enough for several rooms. And it works just fine as a Google Home device. If it's playing music and it hears "Hey Google" it silences the music and waits for a command. That even works from across a large room. Very happy.

Loud, clear and crisp volume and bass. Super high quality speaker. Best smart speaker for listening to music. And Google Assistant is better than Alexa and other smart assistants in so many ways too.

Up front, this is the only Wifi Smart speaker I've owned. It was a gift which I use in my small kitchen. It is plenty loud for that and often for adjacent rooms and the sound quality is more than acceptable...#sweepstakes

Very good bass. Meaning that if you live in an apartment or condo, your neighbors may complain if you play this thing above 70 or 80%. Excellent sound to fill a large 20 x 20 room. Very clear sound even at 20%. I never really used Google assistant but now that it is always on stand-by, I use it a lot more. Very easy set-up through Google home app. I paid full price, I just hope Google doesn't drop the price later as they did for other home products. I paid 4 bills for it, it would probably sell much better for 3. But it is a great quality product, the box is so nice, I don't think I will be throwing it away ; ) I just hope this thing continues to play when I return to Canada in April as it is restricting Canadian IP's right now. I hope this will go away in a couple of months when sales start north of the border. Apart from Sonos 5 ( $100 more ), no other better sounding speaker out there in my opinion.

Sounds great! Its pretty expensive for a speaker but worth it. Especially since google subwoofer audio enhancements are limited to just this one. I would like a little more bass, but it does the job! You can adjust the bass and treble of it from your google home app. Its super loud. Great for a party or when you are at home and want to jam. Its very sturdy and great color. Easy to set up and use. You can also change it to a vertical position.
