GopherHawk Single Trap for Gophers and Moles, 1 GH-TRP, 20" X 1.5

I've had an elusive mole that loves to burrow under/along the wooden edging I have that separates our lawn from landscaped area that I haven't been able to catch for years. On the second day after I set this simple device, BINGO! - the handle had popped up showing the yellow band, and the mole was securely trapped and dead. The spring loaded handle makes it very easy to dispose of without having to get close to the mole at all. I love this! (PS - I was able to make my own probe and wedge myself, for those of you who are handy and cheap like me.)

Worked right away! Ive had gophers destroying my lawn for over 6 months ( I was out of town ). I followed all the directions and watched the videos on youtube from the company plus more from other users. Set my first 2 traps and got that sucker in 18 hours. Great product- watch the instructions and solve your problem. Also they shipped and arrived much faster than expected.

Bought 2 of these to go with the kit I already have. Killed 4 moles so far in just 2 (rainy) months. (Moles aren't very active when it rains here.) I have tried 3 other traps, smoke bombs and pellet poison, not one dead mole from those in 2 years here with those methods. Make sure you get an installation tool set (entire kit about $27 on Walmart.com - right now). Be patient, follow the instructions and if you set it in an active tunnel (new movement within 24 hours) then you should see results within 2 days, if not, then try another active tunnel. In my experience moles don't stay in one area long (If they have room to wander - I have 8 acres), but they do come back to check tunnels they have previously dug. Note: Don't put it in a hill. I will work best in a tunnel (maybe between 2 hills. Watch some videos online, they are a good reference. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

I first bought the set including the probe for locating the tunnels and the wedge tool for digging a hole into the tunnel. After many years of trying to rid my property of moles that had ruined my lawn, and having tried everything on the market including professional pest control service, I figured I had nothing to lose by trying this trap. Only three days after setting it I had finally caught the large mole that had been destroying my yard!! I then bought the single trap for a family member. I would highly recommend this product. It is absolutely the only thing that worked!

This Trap Works every time... I have tried every other means of pocket gopher control (3 different types of traps, pellets, gas) with limited success. It is worth the money. When I saw the yellow shaft I knew there was one less gopher mound to hit with my mower. If the tunnel is shallow put it at an angle and prop it up with dirt. This is the cat's meow for getting rid of Pocket Gophers.

Terrible. The trigger mechanism is so loose it wont trap a thing. In fact the Pocket Gopher pushes dirt into the trap, fills it and it still won't release. DOES NOT WORK
