I used it to repair a favorite item of mine. It isn't something that gets a lot of use, so I'll probably never know how strong the hold is. But it was easy to use and since it's a reputable brand, I think it's definitely worth a try.

This gel is so much better than the superglue that is a liquid. My only concern is that even with the gel more comes out than necessary. I often only need a dot of the glue, but I get the dot put on as well as another half inch that squirts out with it even when I've stopped pushing on the tube. I wish there were a better container to buy super glue and/or super glue gel.

I did not receive this gorilla glue. What do I do next?

I researched what works best to glue a broken piece of a small (Oxacan lizard) wood carving. Though Gorilla glue gel seemed like a good bet (good company) and I followed the directions carefully (one drop etc) it did not hold. I repeated the proceedure (against the adivce on the package, don't do it twice!) with such caution that I couldn't take time to seat the pieces as accurately as I wished, it held but awkwardly and I don't trust that it will last so I mounted it on the wall with monofiliment line, arranged to disguise and protect the repair. I added a piece of electrical tape over the repair. I'm reluctant to take it down for a better photo but here it is on the wall, you can barely see a split above the ankle and tape extending to the “knee” area.

I always use gorilla glue, but this was the first time I used this one. Unfortunately it poured out all over my hands and table. Would not buy this one again. Will still use gorilla glue.
